Should I go for LPU for CSE or go for any other college as I have heard a lot of rumors about it? But LPU has a good placement record.

I am being both alumni as well as an existing research scholar at LPU, so I would prefer LPU when it comes to Engineering courses. LPU has a brilliant faculty, mostly from IITs and NITs. It has also got tie-ups with almost 200 international universities in 50 countries. Thus students are also benefited by giving International exposure, wherein the Credit Transfer is one of the brightest for Engineering courses, in which students get the degree from abroad. Moreover, LPU provides engineering in different ways ranging from Dual-courses to Integrated. Not only this, it offers well and good scholarships to students. Well, I am not an engineering student but a bit connected to it. I was pursuing Masters's degree in mathematics back in the year 2018 and stayed in LPU-hostel. My room-mate was a B.Tech CSE student and best to my experience she was fully compatible with everything. Initially, she was a bit nervous but after a short span of time, she evolved so well. About academics, she used to be very inspired and motivated. Besides that, other things related to academics like workshops are often conducted that help student to learn beyond the line. She was an average student up-to 10+2 but after joining LPU, in the first semester she had to work hard to score well, but then she got used to and finally I SEE this year she has reached the CGPA count of 9. I think this is the best example I could quote to answer your query. Besides that, LPU is one of the remarkable institutions when it comes to placements. Its students are placed in the largest companies like Amazon, Microsoft, etc. All over the world.

I suggest you to go for VIT-Vellore as I heard that it is better for computer Science engineering rather than LPU. Though both are good, but heard that VIT-Vellore is better than LPU.

All the good private colleges are good at getting the placements in IT branches. CSE is a branch in which you can get the placements if you are good with your technical. So, I would suggest you to go for CSE from any good renowned private institute.

LPU is far better than any other private college out there be it in placements, campus life, academics or anything else. LPU is at a whole new level when it comes to placements. As far as I remember they had around 600 companies visiting their campus last year for placements including the companies like Bosch, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, etc. Recently they had Goldman Sachs added to their list as well.
