Should I join colleges of my state as I belong to South India or should I take a seat in North-East NITs or Hamirpur (North)?

Study at our state because there are college like VASAVI and CBIT that offer seat through JEE Main rank. Else, go for NIT, Hamirpur. But, give preference to state colleges.
