Should I take maths or not? I want to go for pharmacy after 12th.

    If you want to do pharmacy then mathematics is not required, you can take PCB.

    In order to take admission in one of the good institute like LPU's the eligibility is 60% in 10+2 (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths/ Biology) which means you may skip mathematics. But if you have strong liking for the subject, then you may proceed because Mathematics always helps you, it is not going to provide any harm. LPU is a university which always start the syllabus from the scratch because of diversity of students it has. So, it all depends upon the liking of the subject.

    In the line of pharmacy, I think there is no need of maths so you can pursue this without maths.

    Bio subject is all about pharmacy and doctors field that's why if you want to go in pharmacy after 12th then you choose bio not math hope you understand.

    1. Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy requires a candidate to have cleared 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Maths (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) or Physics, Chemistry, Maths &Biology as subjects. One must also pass with at least 50% marks in Pre University Course with biology/mathematics as one of the subjects, or complete a D.Pharma. (Diploma in Pharmacy).

    I would recommend you not to take maths and instead take biology as it will help more in future for pharmacy course.

    Yes, you can go to pharmacy after class 12th by taking Maths i.e. PCM or by dropping Maths and taking PCB that completely depends upon your area of interest. If you don't like Maths, then I will suggest you to take biology in place of Maths.
