Not a compulsion for you. I would suggest you not to take it if you are not good at maths. As you can take electives such as PE to get good marks in class 12th boards without putting much effort.

It is not compulsory to study Maths in class 12th. If you have to go in pharmacy after class 12th, but in that case your PCB will be seen and you can only go for subjects related to biology.

Please don't take maths. Otherwise, you won't be able to concentrate on biology fully.

As I have completed my B. Pharmacy, so I can answer it better. For pharmacy you have to pass with:
    1) Either Maths or Biology with other subjects.
    2) Minimum 60% marks in your class 12th.
These two criteria are must for anyone who wants to pursue B. pharmacy.
