You can take maths. It will be beneficial for you even when you go for pharma. To understand the quantity calculations and medical formulas.

If you want to take Mathematics in class 12th, then you can go for it, because you can go for pharmacy after class 12th with Maths also. Eligibility for B. Pharmacy in most of the top universities is to pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Maths). -
PCB is recommended, as you are interested in Pharmacy.

Following is eligibility criteria for pharmacy courses, pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 with English, Physics, Chemistry as compulsory subjects or equivalent along with Mathematics /Biology as a third Science subject from recognised board.

You should take Maths in class 11th for a good base in Physics, but drop it in class 12th, as it is not required.

6 years agoThere is no need of mathematics, if you want to pursue pharmacy after class 12th, you can take Biology.
