Yes it is possible to get admission into B.Tech through lateral entry.
At present, the admissions are being done online and the eligibility criteria to seek admission in B.Tech (lateral entry) is Pass with 60% in Diploma (Engg.) (any stream) (3yrs. after 10th or 2 yrs after 10+2(Non-Medical)) or B.Sc (Non-medical)/ B.Sc(Computer Science) or equivalent.

For admissions, 2020, the admissions are being done online and the eligibility criteria to seek admission in B.Tech (lateral entry) is Pass with 60% in Diploma (Engg.) (any stream) (3yrs. after 10th or 2 yrs after 10+2(Non-Medical)) or B.Sc (Non-medical)/ B.Sc(Computer Science) or equivalent. LPU also offers different scholarships on tuition fees per semester based on the performance of the students.

Yes, you can opt for B.Tech-lateral Entry at LPU. I have done my engineering from LPU and I remember many new faces join us second year through lateral entry admissions. As per the best of my knowledge, If you have done your Diploma ( any branch) and have scored 60% or above, you can apply for admissions. During this period of ongoing COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, to support prospective students (candidates) to apply for admissions, direct online/remote admissions (subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria) process has been started.

Yes LPU also offers lateral entry for the BTEch students, wherein they take admission directly into the second year of BTEch.
