My dear candidate, I'm glad to have you. In India, having a B.Ed or D.Ed is the minimal requirement and prerequisite for teaching. In addition, candidates who want to become teachers must complete their postgraduate studies in pertinent fields. Candidates who want to work as primary and pre-primary teachers must take a number of national and state-level entrance exams, including TET, TGT, and PGT, before being accepted into different government-run primary and pre-primary schools. Teachers in primary schools work with children ages 6 to 12.

    Hi,
Teaching is a great career or volunteering option, especially in a country like India where education is the basic necessity for growth and modernization. The demand is high for qualified instructors at all levels. If you have an interest in teaching and are willing to dedicate yourself to others, this track might be a great fit for you.

To become a primary school teacher, one needs to do graduation along with NTT or and D.Ed or B.Ed. A person also needs training and experience in the same field. If a candidate wants to join an international PYP school then it would be good if he or she gets in-job PYP certification by attending the in-house PYP workshops.
The candidate will get the benefits if he or she has done UG in psychology and the Montessori training program.

Primary schools cover the children from grade 1 to grade 8 (ages between 6 to 14).
Primary school teaching requires Diploma in teaching and education, a 2-year Diploma program having class 12th pass as the minimum qualification.
"D.Ed. course specifically teaches and trains one on how to handle young children which just any graduation course does not do. If a person doesn't know the psychology of the children then it would be very difficult to handle them in the classroom.
Apart from the above, it is recommended to go for other various courses as follows:

Pre-primary and primary school teacher needs to be 10+2 pass out followed by DTED (D.Ed) Diploma in Education. This is a two-year course. After completing this course, you need to qualify TET exam (Teacher Eligibility Test). This exam is conducted by the government. This is my personal experience about the primary school teacher.
