Hi Shivansh, B.Tech+M.Tech takes six years, while BCA+MCA requires at least five or six years (if you choose to pursue MCA lateral). Compared to MCA B.Tech offers more and better work prospects in both the corporate and governmental sectors. Because it covers a lot more courses than BCA the B.Tech syllabus is a significantly more thorough and well-regarded education. However, if you are not admitted to the B.Tech programme, you can enroll in the BCA+MCA programme and get solid technical knowledge instead because, in the end, it's your abilities that count. Once you enter the corporate world, no one will inquire about your academic reco

BCA is a normal 3 years degree course wherein you will come to know about the technical stuff in a brief part whereas in B.Tech degree you will get the stuff in depth fully in technical field so accordingly choose what you want in your life.

BCA plus MCA equals to B.Tech only and then you can go for M.Tech. So the better option is B.Tech.

    Hi Shivansh,
Both are good courses to do, but I'll suggest you to go for B.Tech, as B.Tech has more value than BCA. And you can do M.Tech.

Both the courses are almost same. The only difference is that, in BCA+MCA you will be able to complete your Masters in 5 years, but in B.Tech+M.Tech, it will charge you 6 years.

BE generally means more theory than a B.Tech degree. B.Tech, on the other hand, generally has less theory compared to a BE and more practical skills (hands on) from in class examples/assignments than a BE. This doesn't mean that a BE has no practical skills. They still have assignments and capstone projects in their 4th/5th year to demonstrate and apply all the theory they have acquired over the years of study. From what others say- BE can become a P. Eng (Professional Engineer) which means they have the responsibility of making sure everything is done correctly. Usually the lead engineer has a P Eng. You are held responsible if anythi

B.Tech is more of application oriented. BCA focuses on overall domains of programming. But, if you are good at basics, then it will be easy to cope with any job profile.

If you go for BCA+MCA, you can work hard and study smart even in an average college but if you choose B.Tech+M.Tech then you must choose a big renowned college offering high placements.
