B.Tech opens broader aspects for a student, it includes both technical and IT subjects while BCA includes only IT based subjects. B.Tech students can choose both engineering and IT fields for placements while BCA students can solely opt for IT industry only.

BCA is Bachelor of Computer Applications whereas B Tech is Bachelor of Technology. BCA is solely computer related whereas B Tech incorporates technical subjects along with computer applications. The former is a degree course whereas the latter is an engineering discipline. BCA Professionals can seek for career in IT industries or software companies only whereas Engineers can opt either for technical jobs or for software jobs.

MCA and B.Tech has same value nowadays. 99% companies consider both B.Tech and MCA as equal. B.Tech is undergraduate degree you get admission just after 12th. BCA is undergraduate degree you can go for it after 12th. MCA is postgraduate degree you get admission after completing BCA successfully. MCA degree is Eligible for Ph.D. but B.Tech is not. B.Tech is equivalent to MCA (in certain aspects). And there are probable reasons that an MCA is a perfect course for a Software job.
