What is good for a PCB student among B.Tech in biotechnology and B.Sc in biotechnology?

I want to do Masters from US. Can I do B.Tech in biotechnology from India and then M.Tech from US? I had PCB.

Doing a B.Tech will get you an engineering degree and you will always need some level of math. However, since you are a PCB student in case you are not interested in math a BSc in biotechnology would certainly be just as good an option. It would give you a more pure science oriented perspective.

You should prefer B.Tech because B.Sc doesn't have that much scope. You need to pursue M.Sc in biotechnology after B.Sc.

B.Tech is a better option because after that you can go for a job too but after B.Sc. There is no scope of immediate job u have to opt for M.Sc there.

B.Tech in biotechnology will offer you a job at the end of your graduation. And, also open so many other options for you. So, I think B.Tech would be a better choice.

B.Tech in biotech is a good option, as this will offer you a technical degree, but B.Sc won't offer you this, and there is demand of B.Tech students, as compared to the B.Sc students.

The major difference between any B.Sc. Degree and B.Tech degree is the fact that admission to B.Tech is a professional engineering degree and only approved engineering institutes are authorized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the University Grants Commission (India) (UGC) to give this degree; B.Sc. However, is an academic course which is available in almost every college of India. So B.Tech degree has a higher brand value and employability quotient. B.Tech degree in Biotechnology encompasses both the biological sciences as well as the engineering aspect of Biotechnology. If yes, choose B.Sc/M.Sc Biotechnology or B.Sc. Biotechnology and M.Sc. In any specialised field of Biotechnology. You can later on pursue your Ph.D. if interested. Lovely Professional University is best for pursuing B.Sc. In Biotechnology. Hello, B.Tech Biotech is better than B.Sc. Biotech in my opinion because it has a wider scope and more career opportunities. A B.Tech Biotech degree is more advanced than a B.Sc. Biotech degree.
