A candidate should have done the 12th class in the Science stream with Physics Chemistry and Mathematics and English subjects. A candidate should have scored a minimum aggregate of 50% marks to become eligible for CPL. The minimum age limit for CPL is 17 years, and the maximum age limit is 60 to 65 years.

An airline pilot requires a Bachelors degree in any subject, whereas a commercial pilot usually needs a high school Diploma or equivalent.

    Dear Payal
Navigators today rely on global positioning systems and inertial navigation systems. They just have to punch in the coordinates of where they want to go, and most planes today can get there almost without any human help. The basic eligibility to start a career in airline navigation, one has to have a Bachelors degree in Aircraft operations, aviation, aeronautical engineering or related field with a specialisation in navigation techniques. Thank You!
