The basic principles fair navigation are identical to general navigation, which includes the process of planning, recording, and controlling the movement of a craft from one place to another. [1] Successful air navigation involves piloting an aircraft from place to place without getting lost, not breaking the laws applying to aircraft, or endangering the safety of those on board or on the ground. Air navigation differs from the navigation of surface craft in several ways; Aircraft travel at relatively high speeds, leaving less time to calculate their position en route. Aircraft normally cannot stop in mid-air to ascertain their position at leisure. Aircraft are safety-limited by the amount of fuel they can carry; a surface vehicle can usually get lost, run out of fuel, then simply await rescue. There is no in-flight rescue for most aircraft. Additionally, collisions with obstructions are usually fatal. Therefore, constant awareness of position is critical for aircraft pilots. The techniques used for navigation in the air will depend on whether the aircraft is flying under visual flight rules (VFR) or instrument flight rules (IFR). In the latter case, the pilot will navigate exclusively using instruments and radio navigation aids such as beacons, or as directed under radar control by air traffic control. In the VFR case, a pilot will largely navigate using "dead reckoning" combined with visual observations (known as pilotage), with reference to appropriate maps. This may be supplemented using radio navigation aids or satellite based positioning systems such as GPS.

A candidate should have done the 12th class in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and English subjects. A candidate should have scored a minimum aggregate of 50% marks to become eligible for CPL. The minimum age limit for CPL is 17 years, and the maximum age limit is 60 to 65 years.

Hello, For pilot training course, candidates must have qualified 10+2 in Science stream with a minimum score of 50% marks. Mathematics and Physics are the mandatory subjects for candidates who want to have a flying career. Candidates should be physically fit, with perfect vision in at least one eye.

In addition to obtaining a Masters degree in Air Navigation, many companies also require highly-advanced math, Science and computer skills, along with mission tactical training and a significant amount of experience spent working in an airport or flight environment.

Generally, a flight navigator is one who is responsible for planning the course that will take an aircraft to a location in the least amount of time without compromising its safety and that of its passengers. A flight navigator is one who have to keep the plane on course once in the air. The feature of the job has not changed yet. They are still responsible for getting a plane from one point on the map to another. Navigators today rely on global positioning systems and inertial navigation systems. They just have to punch in the coordinates of where they want to go, and most planes today can get there almost without any human help. The basic eligibility are - Academic Qualification: 10+2 (with Physics & Math) from a recognised Board/University Upper age limit for P1 Commanders: 55 YearsUpper age limit for sr. trainee pilots: 53 Years (Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 Years for SC/ST & 3 Years for OBC Candidates. Ex-Servicemen will be given age relaxation as per rules. ) Technical/License Requirements:Current Class-I Medical Fitness Certificate issued by DGCA, India Current valid ATPL/CPL issued by DGCA, India Current FRTO issued by DGCA, India IR Endorsement for CPL Current RTR (A) or RTR (P) or RTR (C) issued by WPC, Ministry of Communication, India Valid ELP Candidates should be in possession of Indian Current passport.
