The eligibility criteria for Ph.D. are: Masters' degree in the relevant discipline with 55% marks in aggregate. 5% relaxation to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer) / specially-abled candidates. Selection Criteria: An applicant will be short-listed for an interview on the basis of his/ her score in the entrance examination LPUNEST (Ph.D.). The final selection for admission in Ph.D. will be based on the performance in the Interview subject to scoring minimum marks. Exemption from Entrance Test Applicants who have qualified UGC (NET /JRF) / CSIR (NET / JRF) / SLET / GATE / GPAT / ICAR Teacher Fellowship or cleared M.Phil program (In regular mode only) are exempted from LPUNEST (Ph.D.). IMP: Exemption is for LPUNEST (Ph.D.) only but the applicant will have to fill out the LPUNEST (Ph.D.) form and appear for the Interview. The applicants are required to bring the original documents against which exemption is sought at the time of the interview. Since you have not mentioned your percentage. You are required to mail the documents of your diploma to admissions@lpu.co.in, then the coordinator from LPU will help you out in the process.
