What is the eligibility to pursue Ph.D from Lovely Professional University?

If you fulfill the following criteria you will get admission to Ph.D. Applicants who qualify for UGC (NET/ JRF)/ CSIR (NET/ JRF)/ ICAR (JRF/ SRF) examination/ SLET (Punjab only)/ GATE/ GPAT score card/ ICAR (NET), SPM, Teacher Fellowship holder, or passed M.Phil. (in regular mode only) are exempted from LPUNEST (Ph.D.) entrance test (GATE/ GPAT score should be valid at the time of admission). The final selection for admission in Ph.D. is based on the performance in Entrance Test (70% weightage) and Interview (30% weightage) subject to scoring minimum marks in the Interview. However, if anyone is exempted from the LPUNEST (Ph.D.) entrance test instead of the above-mentioned tests, then 100% weightage will be given to the Interview only. Unless otherwise specified by the University, the medium of instruction, course work, examination, question paper, synopsis, and the thesis will be English in all cases. Highlights Teaching fellowship of Rs. 15600/- per month may be provided to full-time Ph.D. scholars subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria.
