  • The LPUNEST exam for 2025 will have 80 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with a total of 100 marks. Each correct answer will earn 4 marks, and there is no negative marking, meaning no marks will be deducted for incorrect answers. The exam will be divided into subjects, with subjects having 25 questions worth 4 marks each, and others having 20 questions worth 5 marks each.

The total duration of the exam is 90 minutes (1 hour and 30 minutes). Candidates will be evaluated based on their performance in these objective-type questions, and the maximum score for the exam is 100.

The candidates are given 4 marks for each correct answer. There is no marks deducted for incorrect answers. The absence of negative marking provides a more favorable environment for candidates to attempt questions without the fear of losing marks. The absence of negative marking in LPU NEST encourages candidates to attempt all the questions, even if they are unsure about the answer.
