What is the placement record for B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture in LPU?

Hello! LPU is always appreciated for Placements. I remember my roommate was enrolled in B.Sc Agriculture and he was selected in Nestle through Campus placement. Lovely Professional University (LPU) has become Indias first private university to get ICAR accreditation. A student from an Indian university has for the first time achieved a major milestone in the field of agriculture. Kavita Faman, a final year student of M.Sc Agriculture (Agronomy) has bagged a massive job package of INR 1 crore. The package was offered to her by a major Canadian agriculture firm. Farman has been offered the role of Production Manager, which means she'll be supervising the manufacture of agrochemicals when she joins the Manitoba office later this month and she'll be getting paid about Rs 1 crore a year for her efforts. Farman very much earned a massive salary. The offer was made based on a preliminary test as well as interviews conducted by the company's officials, both of which she apparently aced. "Agriscience is at the cusp of technology-led disruption," Farman said about her new posting. "From innovations in biotechnology to the usage of data science, the field is embracing the latest technologies and Monsanto is at the forefront of it. I am extremely excited to join the company and will strive to absorb as much as I can over the next few years." Based on comments by Lovely Professional University's School of Agriculture Dean, Dr Ramesh Kumar, Faman is one of their brightest stars to have ever gone through the program. "This proves that there are massive career opportunities in agriculture for those who are willing to learn and work hard," he said. "We hope to see more students following Kavita's footsteps in the future." The school itself is considered one of the foremost agro institutes in the country. As a practical experience, they even have farmland spread across 1,000 acres so students can conduct their research.

The average placement in B.Sc agricultural is Rs 5 lakh per annum. Moreover this data may vary from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 9 lakh depending from person to person and company to company .

Hi, LPU provides plentiful opportunities for all students. University provides additional placement oriented classes and students also studied subjects like analytical skills, soft skills, etc. as part of the curriculum to prepare the students for all types of competitive exams as well. I would like to name a few companies that visit LPU- Nestle, VLCC Health Care, HDFC, Rallis India, SYNGENTA INDIA LTD, WIPRO LIMITED, and many other firms. The average package is 3.27 LPA and the maximum is 5.6 LPA.
