Hi,
LPU has good placement records. For agriculture, it has records up to 1 crore per annum by monsanto , a Canadian company.

Lovely Professional University is a first private University having ICAR accreditation. ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) co-ordinates agricultural education and research in the country under the aegis of Ministry of Agriculture (Govt. of India).
Students are exposed to Commercial farms (400 acres) to know-how that create an opportunity for students to engage and tone up their endurance, confidence and management skills. Students of School of Agriculture are placed well in companies like Dhanuka, Reliance Retail, Syngenta, Bio SEED Nestle, Smur Agro, VLCC, Virbac, Amazon, Sanra organics and many more. You can go for it undoubtedly.

The package of this course is quite good as the average package for the 2018 passout batch is 5 LPA including all the perks and the highest pack is 15 LPA and this is increasing year by year.

There are lot of College and universities which are doing great in agriculture studies but as per my expert LPU is one of the best choice for agriculture programme. Lovely Professional University is first private university accredited by Indian Council of Agricultural Research. No other private university has this accreditation. LPU is one of the great place for education where the management actually believe on actions rather than words. Whatever they promised they delivered to us along with in campus placement at good package and best time of life.

Dear Gourav B.Sc Hons in Agriculture in LPU is one of the best programme. LPU ranks 47th in INDIA according to NIRF 2022, not only this LPU is first private university in India to get ICAR accreditation. Placements in Agriculture are good with VLCC Healthcare Ltd., Ankur Seeds, HDFC, Dhanuka Agritech Ltd., Ebro India Pvt.Ltd., etc coming for campus recruitment and students getting packages upto 4.5 LPA. I did MBA from LPU,During my post graduation years I had few friends from agriculture department,Sometimes I used to visit fields,Labs with them they also discussed about placements ,academic, placements etc so I have Idea about this course.
Few Points I am sharing which will help you to know more about B.Sc(Hons)Agriculture course:-
Students learn about the latest advancements in the field of agriculture, disease resistance, fertilizers and, insecticides with extensive fieldwork and field trips preparing them for the evergreen field of agriculture.
LPU lays thrust on carrying out research in agricultural and allied fields. The university has well-equipped laboratories, library, lecture rooms, and excellent farm facility to conduct agricultural experiments.
Emphasis on case studies and inter-personal based teaching to develop skills inanalytical thinking and reflective judgment by reading and discussing complex, real-life scenarios.
B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture students done research on Project On Floating Island-The project involves the introduction of floating islands for water management and improving sanitation and regulation of water quality & restoration of the water table with the help of biological agents.

Agriculture is a primary source of livelihood for the majority of Indians. Thus, generally it remains the last priority among students choosing a career option.
Which is a very wrong assumption.
Agricultural graduates have wide scope of career in public sector and private sector. In fact entrepreneurship is a great opportunity to pursue your prospective career in agricultural field. It is just a myth that Agriculture does not offer job opportunities.
