What is the procedure of admission in LPU?

LPU is the only and first private university to be accredited by ICAR. For B.Sc Agriculture at LPU: Eligibility is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry) OR 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) OR 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent. With program outcomes like following LPU is best bet for Agriculture courses.: 1 : Knowledge Enhancement : Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of essential facts, concepts, principles and theories relating to Soil Science, Agronomy, Horticulture, Genetics and Plant Breeding, Plant Pathology, Entomology and other such areas of agriculture. 2 : Professional Enhancement : Understanding the value and processes of life-long learning and professional development. 3 : Entrepreneurship Skills : Understanding the processes of setting up and managing viable business ventures. 4 : Communication &amp; Extension Skills : Developing appropriate communication skills for effective transfer of knowledge and technologies through extension programs. 5 : Team Work : Play effective roles in multidisciplinary teams. 6 : Educational Leadership : Recognize and meet emerging agriculture challenges of global society in the 21st century and developing leadership and strong linkages in the agro-industrial setup. 7 : Data Handling : Collect, analyze and interpret scientific data. 8 : Ethics : Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the scientific practice. 9 : Computational Skills : Recognize, analyze problems and plan strategies for their solutions with the help of computer skills 10 : Impart knowledge and understanding of fundamental concepts and techniques of maintaining and enhancing soil fertility, crop production, crop management, crop improvement, biodiversity and sustainability of agriculture worldwide. 11 : Develop the ability to know farming practices and their scope to improve in the rural areas and the environments. 12 : Apply knowledge of basic science through Agricultural microbiology, Plant biochemistry and Biotechnology. 13: Apply knowledge of Agri-business management and finance to develop profitable agricultural system. During this period of ongoing COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, to support prospective students (candidates) to apply for admissions , direct online/remote admissions (subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria) process has been started. Admission process for B.Sc Hons. Agriculture can be followed online. Eligibility for the course is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry) OR 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) OR 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent., There is no entrance exam. Fee per semester is 98000 INR. Further, you can apply for scholarship test, once you are done with admission. Complete process will be followed online, through their website.

Hi, In the current scenario of Covid-19, you can apply for admission through online mode. You have to visit the website, choose your desired programme and proceed through apply now tab button. Admissions are already open. To avail maximum scholarship benefits, it is recommended to apply on or before 31st May 2020.

Rapidly changing business landscape requires young leaders to not only understand developing economies but also develop a global perspective at the same time in order to be an integral part of the growth of the economy Browse the website of LPU. Register on the website of LPU for a course you have selected by filling in your details. Select your course as per your eligibility that is the pass percentage required for that particular course. If you want to avail a scholarship, check the site to how to apply for the scholarship, as it has to be applied right at the time of admission. If you belong to a category having some sort of concession, mention that. If you have a national level award or national level test has been cleared, mention it. The most important thing is to note the dates of admission as if the dates are over you would not get admission in your desired college. You need to start the admission procedure soon as the seats are filling fast due to online admissions. Seats are filling up fast due to online admissions so be fast to grab your seat. All the Best.

Hello! I recently processed my brother's admission in LPU. First of all you need to check with the eligibility criteria of the course you are looking for. For B.Sc Agriculture, 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 is the eligibility, if you fulfill the criteria, you can process the admission online. I am writing the step by the step process to be followed, as I did. Step 1 - Signup Register onto LPUADMIT with basic details (Name, Email ID, Mobile No., State, Gender and Password). Your email id will act as your username for the portal and password will be set by you while registering on the portal. You will get a mail on your registered email id regarding this. Login to the LPUADMIT with already created username/ password. Step 2 - Application for admission Fill the application form. Select your programme from the Available Programme List. You may now proceed with admission OR apply LPUNEST by pressing &quot;Back to Dashboard&quot; button in the left panel and then proceed with LPUNEST application by pressing &quot;For LPUNEST 2020&quot; button and apply for LPUNEST. Details about LPUNEST application are given in Step 3. Deposit initial payment of Rs. 10000 (Application fee: Rs 500, rest under Programme fee of first semester). After the successful realization of the payment:Prospectus will be dispatched at your correspondence address.A Unique Provisional Registration No. will be generated and sent to your registered Email ID. Upload the necessary documents:Recent Photograph , Date of Birth proof (Matric certificate, Aadhaar card etc.)Qualifying exam certificate. In case the qualifying exam certificate is not available at the time of filling this application form (recently appeared), it may be submitted later also. There are three ways to take admission i.e. In-Campus admission, Outcampus and online admission. Considering the current situation COVID-19 LPU is assisting aspiring students with a mode of online admissions only. LPU floats more than 250 programmes whose eligibility varies from one another. Scholarship is also floated on the basis of capability of the student but it is reduced with every passing phase. So, in order to fetch maximum benefit of scholarship, you are advised to plan the admission at the earliest.
