What type of environment is there in the hostels of LPU?

I myself being a hostler here in Lovely Professional University, can say that hostel life in LPU is pretty amazing. As I have stayed in hostels earlier, I am very much impressed with the facilities that we get here in LPU. To me the infrastructure plays an important role, so the environment, the surroundings that I get in here are peaceful. There are 6 hostel blocks for girls. 1, 2,3 and 4 blocks are attached, and are like a mini society in itself. We have a wonderful garden along with two basketball courts. There are 23 open gym under the hostel. Along with that, there are parlors for personal grooming. Canteens to have variety of cuisines, and mess for all who have opted for mess at the starting of the semester. The hostel life here is secure and safe. Some may feel the hostel timings are too strict but that is actually to maintain discipline in the university, which not only helps now but will help in inculcating discipline in life in future.

Residential facility at LPU is very authentic and genuine. *The overall atmosphere of the hostel is calm and peaceful. There are various kinds of facilities available in hostels such as Room service, Saloon, General stores, Canteen etc. The hostel administration here is very cooperative and caring. When it comes to Home like Healthy stay LPUs residential Facilities are Number 1. *For any kind of inconvenience regarding residential facility one can log their request in RMS which will be resolved within few daysLPU offers best residential facilities with value for money.

I stayed in LPU during my Post graduation years and honestly those were the best days of my life. I made some amazing friends and had some amazing experiences. LPU hostel is the safest place on the campus. Its hostel environment is super conducive to learning. Staying in a hostel gives you top notch security as compared to staying in a P. G, Coz as you are far from your home, so you need to feel that home vibe here also and secondly you have no idea about the environment where you are going. So in order to adapt the surrounding you must stay in a hostel as the Campus have many security guards to keep you safe. As parents are more concerned about the girls, so university have proper time for girls to mark in their attendance in their respective hostels. However, these timings cause no hindrance to their studies as the libraries are open until 12 am at night, and in that case, female security guards pick these girls from their respective hostels and drop them too. I have spent five years of my life at the LPU hostel. Life at LPU is always happening. When I first entered LPU I was feeling fascinated by looking at the infrastructure of the Campus and on the other hand, I was also feeling very nervous about my life at Campus Hostel but trust me I shouldn't have been because I had an awesome Hostel Life, Made so many friends, created so many memories, learned from many experiences, etc. All facilitates are provided at the Campus Hostel and you'll have the complete choice to choose the accommodation that suits you and your budget. Zero Ragging/ Zero Discrimination : Nobody is ragged at LPU, This word actually doesn't exists here. There is a complete secularism in the LPU hostel life as you will find seniors and juniors treated similarly at the Campus and even at the Hostel. So, there is no division among the students as per their academic year like other campus hostels. Students from the various ends of the country/ neighboring countries come and join LPU and lives in the same Hostel without any discrimination. Food/ Mess: Honestly I won't lie about the mess at the campus, because I myself took food for the first 6 months at the hostel mess until I explored other good places but there are so many people who actually like a mess. If your one of them very good and if not then fab your in my gang so, you don't have to worry at all for the food at LPU because there are like 358+ shops inside the campus providing all varieties of food from continental to south Indian and that too at very mediocre rates. Some days if you don't feel like going out you can even order at Dominoes, go to CCD, Mall, etc. Food is not at all a problem at LPU. Outdoor Games/ Indoor Games/Gym: There are so many places at Campus for outdoor games and as well as indoor games. Some are campus properties and some are vendor properties (game parlors) where you'll have to pay to play. Everything is fun wherever you fit in yourself. Personal Experience: Getting bored is not an option at LPU because you'll be busy with your classes for more than half of the day and other time with habits and passion if your a passionate follower and If not you'll become one before you leave LPU. Here you'll find many like that! After getting free from all this then you'll barely have some time with your hostel mates or roommates but still they will always remain an integral part of your life.

Environment is quite good. You will get people from all over India in hostels, but LPU charges too much for less facilities. You will cry for internet LPU NET will not work, so you are supposed to invest your money for that for four seater room, they used to charge 50,000 per head.

The hostels are very good with well-equipped facilities and even the mess food is also good to opt for. The security is very strictly followed to maintain a peaceful decor in the university.

Canteens to have variety of cuisines, and mess for all who have opted for mess at the starting of the semester. The hostel life here is secure and safe. Some may feel the hostel timings are too strict but that is actually to maintain discipline in the university, which not only helps now but will help in inculcating discipline in life in future. The University provides magnificent hostels offering a comprehensive range of facilities within the University campus, separately for boys and girls. We understand that most of our students are moving away from home for the first time, so we strive to make the transition as smooth as possible by providing comfortable, safe and homely set-up within the hostels. All the rooms have been designed to provide adequate moving space and ample air and light. To guide the students and to monitor the day to day management of the hostels, each hostel has wardens. Students residing in the hostel always have great stories when they leave for their future endeavor as these memories are always to be cherished. Residential Facility at Lovely Professional is commendable and has a homely atmosphere which the students usually miss when they are far away from their hometown. The university is committed to zero tolerance to ragging, alcohol, smoking, drugs and disciplinary misconduct. Automated turnstile gates with biometric machines regulate entry and exit to residential facility. Talking about security, there are more than 4000 CCTV cameras which keeps an eye over all the happenings in the campus. Moreover, there are more than 400 security officials always present to help and secure the safety of everyone. LPU security team includes experienced ex-military men and women. There are facilities nearby the hostel like eating joints, university-mall, salons, etc. The hostel provides facilities such as Wi-Fi, AC or Air cooler (as applicable), Almirah, Iron B.Ed Geyser, etc.
