For both academics and placements, I think LPU is better. As far as I remember, last year they had around 600 companies there for placements including the companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, etc. Considering the academics, it is better too. You will find the professors here very helpful, understanding and always ready to help you out with any career related problem. The curriculum here is also better.

I have spent 2 years in LPU what I have seen is that the LPU faculty members put in a lot of efforts to get the students placed or get a decent Internship in 2nd or 3rd year. To prepare a student such level is more valuable and putting up efforts for that is more important and that what LPU always focuses on. LPU has a separate placement enhancement department, which take care the overall development of students studying here. Aspiring Minds have ranked LPU as having Most Employable Students in consecutively twice in a row for previous academic sessions. ASSOCHAM (Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India) rated LPU as Best

SRM, Chennai would be the best option since it is older than LPU and also holds a good reputation as it is the main campus.
