Which college is better for B.Tech CSE in terms of academics and placement: LPU or SRM, Chennai?

I think both SRM and LPU are good colleges and their placement is good too, so you go as per your preference. Best of luck.

LPU is the best in all perspectives whether it is teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. My lot of friends have done B.Tech, M.Tech from LPU and they have wonderful experience and they are doing great in their fields with handsome salary packages. LPU provides specialisation also in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, etc. With a great curriculum which is benchmarked with foreign universities. Placements are also good. CSE students got placement in Amazon with a package of 28 Lacs per annum. As per the last year record of LPU The average packages in CSE are from 4 to 10lakh per annum. LPU prepares student for placement by giving lot of extra inputs like personality development class, soft skills class etc. I believe that you should visit LPU campus or you can contact from the website.

If your budget is very high and you belong to the above average family background then you can go for SRM as it is having good campus life and exposure, but if you are from average or middle average family then LPU is a better option as its fee is less and you can also get a scholarship, if applicable.

LPU is best for B.Tech. CSE. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of students. Around 550+ companies visit every year for campus-recruitment of students from LPU. LPU is an axis for Joint campus placement drives. Some of the reputed companies that visits LPU for placements for B.Tech. Are - Amazon, CTS, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Amdocs, Capgemini, Verizon, SAP Labs, Bosch, Samsung, Voltas, Lava, Vodafone and many more. The top 110 companies that recruit IIT students also recruit LPU students.

LPU is a single campus private university in India located in Jalandhar, Punjab with 30K+ students all across the world and with 4000 experienced faculty members and staff members with more than 200 programmes. LPU is the best college for studies and placement. For overall growth of student LPU is the best option. For placements, around 550+ companies visit LPU every year. And the faculty over here is well experienced and qualified.

Hi, In my opinion, you should definitely go for CSE at LPU, it is ranked among top 5 universities of the country and is known best for its CS branch. LPU provides quality CSE education with industry experienced faculty members, high-quality infrastructure, at an affordable cost with various scholarship programs to the deserving students. With various great opportunities and platform for students in the CSE branch to learn and develop themselves to take in the corporate world. Recently, 3 students were recruited by Amazon at the package of 28 LPA for their AI Skills. That is like 2.33 Lacs per month. In addition, the same company Amazon is again coming to LPU as a Joint Campus drive with the same package of 28 LPA as on end of March 2019. It really does come down to the knowledge and skill the students possess and how well he/she is able to perform in the placement drives. However, the courses in LPU does take care of these aspects while making their students get ready for the corporate world. On an average CSE, the student is recruited at a package of 3.5 LPA until 6 LPA on an average.
