Well in my opinion, I will recommend Lovely Professional University. LPU is the best private university to go for B.Tech, it is one of the top 5 universities of India, providing quality education, innovative pedagogy and unbeatable placements both national and international. Being an alumni of LPU I would definitely take the name of Lovely Professional University as I can justify myself on that :
There are two things which should be emphasized first is :

In my opinion LPU is the best option. It has foremost industry oriented Curriculum with flexible learning and project based grooming which enhances the productivity of the student. ABOUT LPU's infrastructure is one of the biggest & best in the World. I would recommend SRM in comparison to LPU. It is good in terms of academics and well as extracurricular activities.

Both has good placement but in case of infrastructure and facility LPU is better than SRM. If you really want to do B.Tech and assure yourself that you can perform well in academic then choose any one where you feel comfortable because LPU situated in North and SRM, Chennai situated in South. Both are good so choose according to your comfort zone.
