It is a matter of concern for each student to get admission in the best university for a good career option. Well each university is individually providing the best platforms for their student for their career but as per my experience, LPU is the best. The LPU is a premier university of India due to certain parameters such as Placements, Labs, infrastructure and civil workshops. The reason of best placement in LPU is tie-ups with national and multinational companies. Due to these tie ups, the curriculum and syllabus of subjects are designed as per discussion with officials. Even in the labs, live projects of these companies are shared with students for global exposure and awareness of challenges with hands on practices. So, every year following recruiters such as IREO Pvt. Ltd., ROYAL HUSKONING, BANGLORE, CURE, New Delhi, DDF Consultants, New Delhi, FEEDBACK INFRA., Gurgaon, SPARC, Mumbai, DLF pvt. Ltd. Gurgaon, AECOM etc. Government Organization like District Town Planner Office, Urban Local Bodies, Rural Development bodies World Health organization New Delhi, JCT, Phagwara visit LPU for placements.

Both of the universities are good at their own place. Here you need to do the comparison . A good university is the one where is good faculty, infrastructure, placements, events etc. By comparing these features you can take the decision. You can visit to websites of both or can visit to campus. One of my known is in LPU in the same course. Reviews are pretty good. But you need to be wise. Take your decision by yourself. It is a matter of fact that one should identify a professional institute to study professional course. I am not able to compare CU and LPU because I am not aware what CU is offering but yes Lovely Professional University offers an Engineering programme which articulates the concepts from basic science to technology through lab practice and projects to gain knowledge in areas like Structural, Environmental & Highway Engineering, Construction Management etc which are in sync with industry requirements. Not only this, the university offers: 1. Foundation and Core Courses 2. Engineering Minors 3. Open Minor 4. Industry Interface 5. Study Abroad 6. Placement pathway One of my cousin who pursued CE from LPU told that the university offers: #Credit Transfer option where the student after successful completion of 2 yrs. at LPU may be given option to join partner/ receiving university abroad for the completion of programme subject to conditions and norms of regulatory bodies. #International Exposure Option where the student may be given an option to go for 4 weeks study tour to USA/ European countries or any other country as decided by the University subject to conditions. #Semester Exchange where the student may be given an option to join partner/ receiving university abroad for a semester as decided by the University subject to conditions.
