    Hey! I was in the same boat a while ago, trying to decide between LPU and Chandigarh University for Civil Engineering. After doing a lot of research and talking to seniors, I ended up choosing CU—and honestly, I'm glad I did.

    What I liked most is the kind of exposure CU gives. They've tied up with UltraTech Cement and even set up a Centre of Excellence on campus. We actually get to work on real construction-related projects and learn things that go beyond textbooks. It feels more practical and industry-relevant.

    They also have this Geoinformatics & Remote Sensing Centre with PRSC, which is super helpful if you're into smart city

    Chandigarh University is doing well in placement.

    Students from Civil Engineering have received good offers. Big companies like l&T constructions, Afcons Infrastructure Ltd, Gammon Engineers and Contractors, everest Industries, Simplex Infrastructures, Saint Gobain, PvT Ltd, Ultratech Cements, and McDermott International hire CU students and offer very amazing salary.

    And you know what the university has a special department called department of career planning and development(DCPD). This department is fully dedicated to students success. It helps with interviews, aptitude tests, group discussion and industry exam.

    Chandigarh University offers strong placements for Civil Engineering students. Companies like L&T, Afcons Infrastructure Ltd, Gammon Engineers & Contractors, Everest Industries and many more have hired CU students in previous years. CU has advanced labs, field training, and industrial visits to give students practical experience. The DCPD department provides special training in aptitude, technical interviews, group discussions, and communication.
