If you want job immediately after your btech then you better go for CSE or else prefer mechanical & civil. Even the college in which you are doing is also important.
If you are interested in mechanical & civil better plane for post graduation(Masters)
in forigen countries like US,germany.because the scope for these branches are more in those countries.
For computer science presently there is a good scope in india.for this u may study in folling institutions.

    The user recommends following institutes
    GITAM School of Technology, Visakhapatnam

Both are good in their own fields. Mechanical and civil are the core engineering branches.

Civil and mechanical are the core engineering branches. These will be in demand always.
This era belongs to computer science and there is a lot of crowd. So, I would suggest you to either be best in computer science or choose one of the core branches.
Although, if you look at the job opportunity prospects - CSE is better.

In Civil engineering you will learn about constructing buildings etc. In Mechanical Engineering you will learn about making and operating machines, automobiles etc. In Computer Science, you will learn about Programming and making software. What interests you? What activities did you enjoy the most during your childhood? Think about them and then make a decision. Remember that this

Brijesh, these days emphasis is on CSE, Civil and Mech.but it also depends upon your choice. If you are somebody who wants to sit in an AC office then ofcourse CSE is for you but if you are somebody who doesn't mind working in the field then Civil and Mech.are very good options. These days Civil and Mech.students students are also getting good offers.
Now the most important thing is the university/ college that you choose for your degree. These days we have many good government as well as private universities offering admissions in different engineering branches. Some of them offer admission just on the basis of tests like JEE and some
