BCA makes you adept at the application level of computers whereas B.Tech makes you proficient at the 'technical' level (Software, Hardware, applications etc. ). For getting admission into B Tech engineering, most students appear for the national level Joint Entrance Exam, popularly known as JEE.

Both courses have great opportunities. B.Sc. Is concept oriented, it will teach you the core concept of IT/CS and you will have to study Science subjects too. On other hand BCA is application oriented, teach current technologies, platforms. One can join BCA from Science, commerce and arts background. But to pursue B.Sc. You need to have a background of Science. B.Sc. Is a general course and BCA is a technical course, so getting job from BCA is easy than B.Sc. After B.Sc. You can do M.Sc. IT/CS or MCA both.
