Which is better among journalism and mass communication and interior designing?

Hi Raman, Both the courses you mentioned are entirely different from each other and have a high impact in their fields. Only one name is coming on my mind is LPU, Jalandhar, Punjab. One of the best University can do justice to both the courses. Journalism and mass communication talks about Print Media, TV &amp; Radio Journalism, etc. Along with graphic designing, public relations, advertising and media, etc. However, interior designing is what you know all about. The art of making the interior of an infrastructure more beautiful and attractive. So, both the fields have a bright future ahead and it solely depends on you that where your interest actually lies. Be patient and careful enough to choose. Nowadays, Online Admissions are already open at LPU. One can proceed through university website '<a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="www.lpu.in&quot;" style='word-wrap:break-word;'>www.lpu.in&quot;</a>. Or you can try calling them at their toll free number of LPU. For maximum scholarships, better to take Admission as soon as possible.

The study of mass communication is often associated with the practical applications of journalism (Print media), television and radio broadcasting, film, public relations, or advertising. On the other hand, interior designing interior designing is the art or process of designing the interior, often including the exterior, of a room or building. An interior designer is someone who coordinates and manages such projects. Interior design is a multifaceted profession that includes conceptual development, communicating with the stakeholders of a project and the management and execution of the design. Neither. You should go for a graphic designing or multimedia course. If at all going for media, you could try a mass communication and graphic designing course.

Hi Raman, your question is relevant for many students looking for an undergraduate course today.The choice of course lies with the student and is thus subjective to the interest of the student. While a degree in BA (Hons) Journalism, Media and Communication or BA (Hons) Journalism and Mass Communication will give the student a chance to explore careers in the media industry (e.g. print, television, digital, radio etc.), advertising, a degree in Interior Design allows students to explore the functionality of spaces, be it residential or commercial. The duration of the courses differ if you opt for a degree program - BA (Hons) Journalism, Media and Communication or BA (Hons) Journalism and Mass Communication is a 3 year course whereas B.Des Interior Design is a 4 year degree course. These days it is easier for students to expand their horizon of learning through Liberal Education at universities like IILM University Gurugram, Flame University, Ashoka University to name a few. IILM University for instance offers a chance to opt for a major and minor combination from across different disciplines including a combination of papers from Journalism, Media and Communication with courses from Interior Design. This way you get to explore your interests, all during your undergraduate study :)

There is no good or bad. It is on your choice. Interiors is a smaller personalized informal industry. Journalism is a more formal, large, structured, multimedia career, spanning print, TV, Radio and online media. Communication in general will also include TV production, films, radio, and events, advertising and PR.

It depends upon your interest and dedication. Which field you like the most? Both are very much different. Journalism and mass communication is all about language, your command, fluency, knowledge, intelligence, attitude, alertness etc. While interior designing is all about beauty, creativity, etc. After completing B.J. M. C. you will be having options of getting into media houses, PR Houses, government sector, communicator, writer, traveller, photographer etc. While with designing course you can be a interior designer. Both the subjects are in demand. Thank you.
