Which is the best college for placements among UPES and LPU?

Rankwise, LPU is higher than UPES. For some specialised courses like petroleum engineering UPES is better but overall LPU would be a better choice.

LPU is much better than UPES because LPU provides great opportunities to all eligible students to secure good placements. Moreover, LPU ranks amongst the Top 200 universities globally as per the prestigious Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2021. I have spent 4 years in LPU and yes of course I have been placed in good company with the handsome package. Honestly saying LPU has a great role in this. When I joined LPU I was not good at speaking, presenting but LPU gave me all required inputs through PEP classes and Soft Skill Classes which actually groomed me. LPU has a separate department of career services which helps students in every step. The university has been ranked high by various outer agencies with regard to the placements of the students. LPU is conferred with National Employability Award 2020 by Aspiring Minds for the 7th time in a row for most Employable Students and one among the top colleges and universities in India with one of the highest Employability rates. LPU is ranked 10th Best Training and Placements Institutions in India for 2019 by The Knowledge Review. Dear Sameeksha, Being alumni of LPU, I can answer this question. Comparing other Universities with LPU, I would say that LPU is better in terms of placements. In fact, LPU created a new record in the whole of North India by placing its student Tanya Arora with Microsoft, who bagged a package of 42 LPA. Besides, other record-breaking placements for LPU includes: the highest Placement (Engineering) Rs. 42 Lacs per annum (Microsoft) the highest Placement (Management) Rs. 19.75 Lacs per annum (SOBHA Developers) the highest Placement (Design) Rs. 15 Lacs per annum (Trident Group) Amazon recruited LPU students on a package of 28 LPA The highest internship stipend is up to 80k per month. (which is really hard to get in other universities) The reason why LPU has better placement records than other universities is because of its unique career cell. It enables students in getting relevant work experience to complement their studies and develop appropriate skills and knowledge. Resume writing, aptitude development workshops among other activities are hosted for the overall development of students and prepare them to crack the interviews easily. LPU has outdone itself in respect to the placements this session. This year, LPU has set the record in North India with the largest number I. e. , 610 engineering students getting recruited by a single company, in a single day and also on the single campus. It is a UGC-recognized and renowned University and is considered as one of the top 5 universities of the country because of its quality education and unbeatable placements, immense on course exposures and a beautiful 600 acres campus to live in with the latest facilities. LPU has one of the best placement records in the whole of India and that is why students want to join LPU to get placed. Right from Google to Microsoft, LPU alumni are working with the top brands at the package of 1 crore and above. Annually, more than 450 brands come to LPU to recruit students, where 90% of them are MNCs. Moreover, 80+ companies that recruit from IITs and NITs also recruit from LPU. Over the last three years, Cognizant alone has recruited 1900+ students from the LPU campus and has been titled with the Most Employable Students consecutively twice in a row by India's top talent company Aspiring Minds.
