LPU is better not only because of the placements but also campus life, infrastructure, etc. The campus here at LPU is so lively and beautiful. The campus in itself is a completely different world. You will have all the facilities that you can think of inside the campus itself. The teaching methodology here is also very good. They focus on innovative teaching embedding all the latest trends, practical knowledge, etc. The faculty members here are also very knowledgeable. Faculty members are highly qualified, most of the faculty members have done their Ph.D. and others are pursuing, They have at least a minimum of 5 years of experience and ample amount of knowledge, both theoretical and practical knowledge. They are cooperative and whenever you need their help they are ready to help you out. The faculty recruited by the university are only either experienced or alumni of NIT, IIT, and Iims. And when we talk about the placements here, it is far better than many private colleges of India. More than 550 companies visit the campus every year to recruit students with around half of them offering dream packages. LPU is also a great place for sports-loving persons as it has almost all the sports facilities here. You will have multiple basketball courts, Olympic-sized swimming pools, American Football, etc. Students from LPU also shine at various National and International level sports tournaments.

I am not having any experience commenting on placements of UPES but to my knowledge LPU is one such University that provides different classes for placements which helps in grooming. Students are trained in Aptitude, Reasoning, free preparation for government Exams, Soft Skills and language training, Interview skills right from the 1st year, continuously for 2/3/4 ( duration of course) years till they get the job. The students of LPU has been placed in the top companies with high salary packages. The placements have been divided as dream packages and bulk recruiters. Apart from placements, many eminent companies approach LPU to hire students for internships. A Salary package of 28 LPA was offered by Amazon. Being an educational consultant, I kept checking about the placement s of different universities to helps students choose the best for them. Comparing other universities with LPU, I would say that LPU is better in terms of placements. In fact, LPU created a new record in the whole of North India by placing its student Tanya Arora with Microsoft, who bagged a package of 42 LPA. As per my knowledge: With the diverse and vast set of courses available at LPU, maintaining an overall placement record is not an easy task; yet, LPU manages to pull it off. There are also several cases when the students have bagged placements offering them a package of 1 crore. LPU has outdone itself in respect to the placements this session. This year, LPU has set the record in North India with the largest number I. e. , 610 engineering students getting recruited by a single company, in a single day and also on the single campus. Cognizant Technologies, one of the leading IT Company visited the campus two times within a span of nine months. Apart from that, students of LPU also procured international placements by big names in the global market like Ritz Carlton Hotel USA, Qatar Airways Doha & Al Rakha Group Dubai which offered the students up to Rs 22 Lacs and also made LPU to get one of the highest placement packages record in the region. There were also numerous top salary offering companies such as Practo Technologies offering packages of Rs 7 Lacs, Josh Technologies with Rs 6 Lacs, LG Soft with Rs 5.5 Lacs and many more.
