I am not having any experience commenting on placements of UPES but to my knowledge LPU is one such University that provides different classes for placements which helps in grooming. Students are trained in Aptitude, Reasoning, free preparation for government Exams, Soft Skills and language training, Interview skills right from the 1st year, continuously for 2/3/4 ( duration of course) years till they get the job. The students of LPU has been placed in the top companies with high salary packages. The placements have been divided as dream packages and bulk recruiters. Apart from placements, many eminent companies approach LPU to hire students for internships. A Salary package of 28 LPA was offered by Amazon. Lovely Professional University offers excellent placement assistance to students of all the courses. Students enrolled in Diploma, UG, PG and Lateral Entry courses of LPU are offered placements/ job opportunities in top companies across the globe. Being an alumnus from LPU and selected in campus placements, I believe I can answer your concern. LPU gives great placement opportunities to its students. Every year breaks its own record of placements. Many giants like Amazon, Interviewbit have offered packages of around 30 LPA to LPU students from CSE. VMWARE, Jugnoo, Pegasystems have offered packages of 9LPA to students, many other companies like Wipro, Capgemini, Bosch have offered packages of 6 LPA and the list is endless. International Companies like Hyatt (USA), Ritz Carlton (USA), Adani Wilmar (Africa), Altruist (Africa), Al-Rakha (Dubai), Dharam Consultancy (USA) have selected LPU student from management discipline. Student from LPU got placed in Microsoft at a package of 42 LPA. LPU has various tie-ups with Google, Pega, VMWARE, AUTOMATION ANYWHERE, INFORMATICA, COMPUTING TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION (CompTIA). Talking about placement scenario of 2020: 1. Around 630 companies visited LPU for recruitment 2. Around 192 companies offered packages of more than 5 LPA 3. Bosch, Wipro, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Cap Gemini have been the top recruiters. 4. Being an educational consultant, I kept checking about the placement s of different universities to helps students choose the best for them. Comparing other universities with LPU, I would say that LPU is better in terms of placements. In fact, LPU created a new record in the whole of North India by placing its student Tanya Arora with Microsoft, who bagged a package of 42 LPA. As per my knowledge: With the diverse and vast set of courses available at LPU, maintaining an overall placement record is not an easy task; yet, LPU manages to pull it off. There are also several cases when the students have bagged placements offering them a package of 1 crore. LPU has outdone itself in respect to the placements this session. This year, LPU has set the record in North India with the largest number I. e. , 610 engineering students getting recruited by a single company, in a single day and also on the single campus. Cognizant Technologies, one of the leading IT Company visited the campus two times within a span of nine months. Apart from that, students of LPU also procured international placements by big names in the global market like Ritz Carlton Hotel USA, Qatar Airways Doha & Al Rakha Group Dubai which offered the students up to Rs 22 Lacs and also made LPU to get one of the highest placement packages record in the region.
