A very good question. And, as you might expect there is not one single hands-down easy answer. But, I can say that in general, I would say yes. There is little comparison towards coming back to India with a Harvard degree in pocket (plus all the connections and benefits that go along with it.India:
Top most IIMS are the best. Apart from these, there are several good B schools. For IIMs, you must have consistent excellent academic record and very good CAT scores. I think, to pursue MBA in India is the best option, because we have lot of best B-schools, which gives us enough scope for growth and strengthen our position. Below mentioned are the top 10 institutions in our country:
1. FMS Delhi.
2. IIM A.
3. IIM B.
4. IIM C.
5. IIM L.
6. IIM K.
7. JBIMS.
8. SPJIMR.
9. MDI - Gurgaon.
10. XLRI. To get admission in the above mentioned colleges, you have to go through a series of exams like CAT XAT IIFT CMAT NMAT or SNAP and also an excellent percentile, then you will receive calls for the second process, i.e. What/ GD/ PI and if you are able to impress them, then you are in.

Hello,
India is a highly competitive country especially for education. MBA is good and recognized, if you do it from top or colleges in both India and abroad. Abroad studies would have high share of expenses in terms of their tuition cost and living cost. To get into abroad you need to appear for GMAT and start your application process earlier.

The best institute in India are the IIMS, and almost all the IIMS are the best. And, abroad the best institute is London School of Economics and Harvard Business College.
