Which of these is better: BE in CSE from Sathyabama University or B.Tech in CSE from SRM University, Chennai?

It just depends on you. My answer may shock you, but this is the fact. Ok, now let me explain you, why I said like that. First, let's start with SRM, it's the topmost private college in Tamil Nadu. You can see people from different countries and states. It's known for its luxury environment and culture. If you SRM, you can completely enjoy your college life and, of course, they have good placements too. Now, about Sathyabamja, it's also one of the topmost private colleges in Tamil Nadu. This college was once known for its strict rules, now also people think that this college is too strict, but I'm here to say that our college has also broken its rules. This college is mainly known for its placement. Over 250+ companies visit the campus and the average salary of a student is 4 LPA. And the highest salary is 32 LPA. The topmost advantage in studying here is that this college has the best teaching method when compared to all the other private colleges like SRM, VIT and Sathyabama. So, if you just want to enjoy your life choose SRM, but if you are concerned about the studies and enjoyment, choose Sathyabama University.

First of all, let me introduce you to the culture of both the colleges: While Satyabhama is relatively very strict, as they don't allow you for outings often! Cross gender interaction is not entertained and lesser semester breaks puts the nail to the coffin. At SRM, you are free to live the way you wish to and also you are not restricted from outings. Coming to the academics, you need to maintain a minimum of 75% attendance in both the colleges and failure in doing so would get you detained. There are 14 Special Interest Groups (SIG) among the faculty who are focused in their research domains like Software Defined Networking, Biometrics & Bio-Informatics, Data Mining and Big Data Analytics, Wireless & Mobile Computing, Security & Trust Computing, Wireless Sensor Networks & IOT, Soft Computing, Image Processing, Machine Learning and Data Analytics, Natural Language Processing and Regional Computing, Cloud Computing and Social Networking, Service Oriented Architecture and Theoretical Computer Science. There are good number of Ph.D scholars doing their research which includes part time internal and external. The department got a grant from DRDO for doing research on Mobile Adhoc Networks, subsequently a Research lab on Wireless Sensor Networks has been setup. The department in collaboration with NOKIA has setup an Open Innovation lab for developing mobile applications. The department received a grant from The Institution of Engineers for the Project on 'Non-invasive Brain Computer Interfacing'. As an outcome of that a unique Brain Computer Interface lab has been setup for doing research on BCI related areas. The department has a Software Defined Communications (SDC) Technology Research Test bed setup in collaboration with Tejas Networks. Research scholars and students make use of this test bed in developing solutions for problems in their field. The department has a Natural Language Processing & Machine Learning Lab apart from the Biometrics Research Lab. The faculty to student ratio in SRM is lot more than that of Satyabhama. Hostel facility is much better for SRM as you have facility of ac /non ac /international hostel, whichever suits your pocket, which is not the case for Satyabhama where you have to go with what the college allots you. SRM University Main Campus and Delhi NCR is the better option than Satyabhama University as SRM has good placement record of highest of Rs 22lakh per annum and Satyabhama has highest of Rs 15 lakh per annum. SRM est. in 1985 and Satyabhama est. in 1987 but in SRM till date more than 55k student studied and in Satyabhama university 14k student studied. In SRM, getting placed into any services company like Wipro, CTS, Infosys, TCS is almost for sure. Here in SRM, CSE student get more chance to placed in abroad company because this college has more exposure and collaborative program with different company and college all over the world. There is huge campus in in SRM with tech park which is better than Satyabhama campus. If someone wants research work then SRM is best option as this is a deemed university, so they give more opportunity to student. In SRM there is lot of freedom for exposure. SRM itself has got many alumni into start-ups, so many start-ups too come there for placements or internships which really helps to the student of SRM. Overall, SRM University is far better than Satyabhama University. So, choose wisely. All the best.
