All are good, but B.Tech In CSE is having more opportunities and a good scope for placements. If you're quick learner, then you can easily get a high package job.

    Hi,
It is better to go for B.Tech instead of B.Sc. CS because of following reasons:
    1. In B.Tech CS you will study core subjects which forms the basis of computer Science. So if you want to be scientist it is better to study subject from basics.
    2. B.Tech CS is practical oriented course while B.Sc. CS is theory oriented course. Now if you want to be scientist it would better if you are perfect in practicals.
    3. B.Tech CS will give you more opportunities as it has everything to study from basics to the latest technologies and developments. At last decision will be yours but you have to take it carefully by thinking from every point of vi

    HI Deepak,
A B.Sc. CS graduate is a software programmer armed with the knowledge of scripting as well as programming languages like C, C+, Java, HTML, PHP, etc. Whereas B.Tech graduate has detailed knowledge of both hardware and software. B.Tech is far more advanced version of B.Sc. Itself as there is more exposure, more internships and more hands on projects. B.Tech. Is a four-year undergraduate programme; B.Sc. Is a three-year undergraduate programme. You must check your eligibility for both the programs to decide. In any case, LPU is there to help you out with its solid track record on programme delivery and placements. Over 600 comp

According to my views and experience, we can't compare these two courses. Both courses have different lines, one is professional course, and other is reading course. If you have interest in your profession, then it is good to study B.Tech. If you want to go in teaching line, then do B.Sc. But, as my experience, nowadays professional people have more importance, so do B.Tech in CSE.

It purely depends upon your interest. But outrightly, B.Sc. Computer Science is 3 years of Graduation course while B.Tech is 4 years of Graduation course after which you will get Engineer's Degree. B.Sc. CS will teach you about computer application but won't focus much on coding. LPU is the best choice to pursue studies as LPU not only provides good environment for the studies but also provides excellent platform for the placements.

B.Tech in CSE is much better and has a wider scope and opportunities for placements. It includes both technical and theoretical aspects to study.

Engineering, which generally means more theory than a B.Tech degree. B.Tech on the other hand generally has less theory compared to a Being and more practical skills (hands on) from in class examples/assignments than a Being. This doesn't mean that a B Engineering has no practical skills, they still have assignments and usually have capstone projects in their 4th/5th year to demonstrate and apply all the theory they have acquired over the years of study. From what others say- B Engineering can become a P Engineering (Professional Engineer) which means they have the responsibility of making sure everything is done correctly. Usually the

My personal recommendation would be to go for B.Tech in CSE instead of B.Sc (CS). My whole basis of this answer is the perks you have when you have an engineering degree are higher than a normal Science graduate. So, you will be considered for better profiles and also a better package in case you have an engineering degree.
