Hi, How are you? Well opting for B.Sc is such a good choice as it is different from that of B.Tech. If you further want to go in research field then choose M.Sc and then Ph.D from a good college. Go for it! Thank you and keep asking!

B.Tech has more wider scope due to following reasons:
    1. In B.Tech CS you will study core subjects which forms the basis of computer Science. So if you want to be scientist it is better to study subject from basics.
    2. B.Tech CS is practical oriented course while B.Sc. CS is theory oriented course. Now if you want to be scientist it would better if you are perfect in practicals.
    3. B.Tech CS will give you more opportunities as it has everything to study from basics to the latest technologies and developments.

A B.Sc. CS is a three-year undergraduate degree programme that focuses on subjects related to computer Science, application development, and its services, while a B.Tech in CSE is a four-year degree programme that deals with the theoretical and practical aspects of computer hardware and software.
  • B.Sc Computer Science is 3 years of Graduation course while B.Tech is 4 years of Graduation course after which you will get Engineer's Degree. B.Sc. CS will teach you about computer application but won't focus much on coding.

B.Tech is a four year programme whereas B.Sc is a 3 year programme in B.Tech. A student get to learn more subjects, detailed knowledge of both hardware and software. It is an advanced version. In my opinion, a student should go for B.Tech programme for more growth and success and Lovely Professional University is one of the best universities which is offering both these programmes.

B.Tech in CS is better than B.Sc CS, because B.Tech in computer Science is more practical oriented one than B.Sc in CS.
