Which one should I prefer for B.Com: Goenka College of Commerce and Business Administration (GCCBA Kolkata) or St. Xavier's College and why?

According to me Goenka College of Commerce and business administration in Kolkata is most suitable for doing B.Com then Saint Xavier's College because Goenka College of Commerce and business administration in Kolkata is ranked 11 all over India in business schools.
The fee structure of both of these colleges is about same which is 13500 year.

Both the colleges are good, each having some positive and strong points of its own, I would personally prefer St. Xavier's College Kolkata over Goenka College of Commerce and Business Administration (GCCBA) due to following reasons:
1. St. Xavier's College Kolkata is Ranked number 4 by India Today, whereas Goenka College of Commerce and Business Administration (GCCBA ) was ranked 11th this year
2. St. Xavier's College Kolkata Course Status is offered by Affiliated to University of Calcutta. Goenka College of Commerce and Business Administration (GCCBA) course offered by Autonomous Affiliated to University of Calcutta

7 years agoSt. Xavier's, Kolkata and Goenka College of Commerce and Business Administration (GCCBA) Institute are equally good institutes. Later is better ranked. Some of the important points while selecting an institute - Accreditation of the institute, institute's infrastructure, teaching faculty, specialization offered, past placements records., tuition fees, city preference, and industry interface. As both, the institutes are having the campus Kolkata. Industry exposure is good for students in either of the college. If possible a visit to college is better option to get a reality check.
