Hello friends, one of my questions is that now there is a need for engineers in India, then why the engineers are so helpless.

People make fun of engineers because they see a lot of engineers around them in garages and workshops but that doesn't mean that engineering doesn't have a scope. The reason is that we have a lot of engineering colleges but only few can shape their students Future and so thousands of engineers are made every year but we won't have enough companies to give them the required jobs thus only highly qualified engineers get placed in good jobs and the rest end up working in local shops and factories with little salary.

Engineering is not useless. All the marvelous innovations and creations can only be made into real by engineers. A good engineer has lots of opportunities and more. People study engineering in enthusiasm and lose track because they are unaware of the right choice. Engineering is a field that should be studied with interest.

Engineering is never useless, but our education system is not properly set. As a person do engineering with full dedication and he/she get a government job in clerical sector in there first attempt then he/she make there engineering degree useless. Now a days engineering college are in a huge quantity and they admit the students on too many attractive offers. After completing the course, the student feel as looted. And there are too many other things which are responsible for it.

People make fun of mechanical engineers because mechanical engineering students are more in number than mechanical engineering jobs available now. But that is not an issue for a good student.

The overall field is extremely challenging as it requires to apply the basic scientific principles to design and develop rockets. It requires sophisticated engineering with careful material selection, and allows narrow margin for error.
