Is writing LPUNEST exam needed if passed with 80% marks in 10+2?

Hello, LPU NEST criteria is totally depends on which programme you intend to take admission. For some programmes like engineering, Ph.D. LPU NEST is mandatory (Exemptions applied on National level tests) and in case of availing admission in BBA B.Com B.Sc. Computer Science, etc. LPU NEST is not mandatory. According to the eligibility criteria only, we can define LPU NEST is taken as a parameter or not. Qualifying LPU NEST also helps in availing a good amount of scholarship. Hi Teja, That depends on which programme you are seeking admission. If you want to pursue B.Tech, then it is mandatory to write LPU NEST for 80% marks in 10+2. However for most other programs it acts as a scholarship test. You can write it to attain or improve your scholarships. Hello Teja LPU NEST (National Entrance & Scholarship Test). This test forms the basis of eligibility for some of the programmes and scholarship for most of the programmes. The amount of scholarship depends on the fee of the programme, date of admission and performance of the student in LPU NEST. It totally depends on programme which you will choose. For some programmes, LPU NEST is mandatory for eligibility.

HiIt depends on the stream you choose. If you are going for engineering, MBA, agriculture PG then you need to give LPU NEST. Otherwise you need not give this test and you can take admission on the basis of your last qualification score only. Kindly check their web site for details Thanks!

Hi Teja Nithin, You have not mention the programme name in which you want to take admission. As a alumni of LPU, I have bit idea about LPU NEST and other scholarships. Lovely Professional University conducts its own test LPU NEST (National Entrance & Scholarship Test). Hi, Due to the prevailing situation, the eligibility criteria is a bit relaxed. No, it is not mandatory to qualify LPUNEST (except in B.Tech, PG Agri and PhD). Though in case, if you want to improve your scholarship, you can appear in the LPUNEST exam as per schedule communicated by university depending upon Government decision on lockdown due to Covid-19. Hello, It completely depends upon the course you are looking for. There are certain courses in LPU in which there is no entrance exam I. e. LPU NEST is not mandatory such as BBA BCA Hotel Management, B.Sc. In different specializations, Diploma programs, B.J. M. C. and many more, you just need to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria and you can get your admission done. Last date for admission in such courses is 30th April.However, you can apply for LPU NEST for scholarship after getting your admission confirmed. If you are looking for admission in Engineering, PG Agriculture, MBA or LL.M. then you need to qualify LPU NEST. Counselling process is only followed in Engineering. If you have appeared for JEE exam in January, then you can be a part of their special counselling, last date to apply for the same is 20th April and if not then you can apply for LPU NEST and be a part of their regular counselling, last date to apply for the same is 30th April. LPU is following online process for admission. So hurry up and get your admission done, before the seats get filled.

It actually depends on the programme in which you want to seek admission. There is direct admission to some courses and in some its mandatory to qualify the LPU NEST exam and in some, LPU NEST exam + Interview.
