Is writing LPUNEST exam needed if passed with 80% marks in 10+2?

Dear Teja, it depends on which programme you are applying for. There are courses for which LPU NEST is mandatory for some it is not. But still all the students take LPU NEST as the LPU NEST score gets you scholarships. LPU NEST is an entrance test conducted by LPU for admission in various programmes. It aims to check how far the concepts from the previous qualification are clear. It's tough but those who have studied honestly will be able to make it. Don't you worry, the syllabus of LPU NEST is all that you have studied in your previous qualification. In addition to it, there are questions of reasoning, verbal ability, analytical ability are also there. LPU NEST is a proctored exam and questions are asked in the form of MCQs. In order to get admission into any course in LPU, the candidate has to meet the eligibility requirements. LPU NEST exam in LPU after 10+2 is required as a part of eligibility and it also benefits the student for scholarship basis certain cut-off scores. Taking the above percentage into consideration, the aforesaid information will depend upon the course opted by the candidate I. e in which course the candidate wishes to take admission. There are courses in which the candidate can take direct admission without even appearing for this test.

Well, Giving LPU NEST exam is mandatory in some courses but if you don't want to give LPU NEST exam, there are some course available for B.A. Hotel management, B.A. (Journalism and mass communication) etc. So, you will take admission in these courses.

Hello, Depending on the programme for which you are applying. LPU NEST is required for several courses, but not all of them. As every programme has some different percentage criteria. Some require pass like the programmes of arts and physical education, whereas programmes like management, commerce etc. Require minimum 50 percentages of marks in 12th and also programme like engineering, design etc. Require 60 percentages of marks. So you have to check the eligibility of your programme and apply for the admissions accordingly. In case you have 70 percentages or more than you can avail the scholarship also. Also, there are other scholarship categories also whichever will be higher that scholarship will be applicable. Admissions are open online. You can apply for admissions as soon as possible for maximum scholarship benefits. Nevertheless, all students take the LPU NEST since a high score on it qualifies you for scholarships. LPU administers the LPU NEST entrance exam for admission to a variety of programmes. It seeks to determine how well understood the topics from the prior qualification are. It's challenging, but those who have honestly studied will succeed. Don't worry; everything you studied for your prior qualification is covered in the LPU NEST syllabus. There are also questions about logic, linguistic skills, and analytical skills in addition to this. The LPU NEST exam is proctored and consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Certainly, LPU NEST is mandatory to qualify for both scholarships and eligibility into different programs in LPU. LPU is one such University that conducts LPU NEST for all the programs. LPU NEST is a National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programs in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility and scholarship for most of the programs and for some of the programme's test is applicable only for a scholarship. For most of the programs, it serves both purposes. As per the official website of LPU, the Schedule for LPU NEST has been started for all the programs for this current session I. e 2021. Well that depends on the programme you are looking for. The eligibility criteria is different from one programme to another. For B.Tech, you need to write LPU NEST with this percentage but for other programmes after 12th you are eligible based on this percentage. Dear Applicant, I can't confirm you as you have not mentioned for which course you are asking. But I heard that this time at LPU due to covid 19 impact LPU relaxed eligibility norms. In the maximum number of the programmes/courses LPU NEST plays a role of scholarship and in some courses it's mandatory to qualify it for eligibility purpose. One thing is for sure that you will get a scholarship with this percentage. It is mandatory to give exams for courses like B.Tech, MBA, Ph.D. LL. Hi, You have not mentioned the name of the programme in which you are seeking admission. So I will share general information. LPU NEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility for some of the programmes and for a scholarship for most of the programmes. With the best of my knowledge, this year as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, LPU has relaxed the eligibility requirements and now LPU NEST is mandatory only for B.Tech, Masters of Agriculture and Ph.D. programmes. All other LPU NEST programmes have been exempted to qualify. While this test can be taken for scholarship purposes.
