In order to get admission into any course in LPU, the candidate has to meet the eligibility requirements. Well, Giving LPU NEST exam is mandatory in some courses but if you don't want to give LPU NEST exam, there are some course available for B.A. Hotel management, B.A. (Journalism and mass communication) etc. So, you will take admission in these courses.

Hello, Depending on the programme for which you are applying. LPU NEST is required for several courses, but not all of them. As every programme has some different percentage criteria. Some require pass like the programmes of arts and physical education, whereas programmes like management, commerce etc. Require minimum 50 percentages of marks in 12th and also programme like engineering, design etc. Require 60 percentages of marks. Dear Applicant, I can't confirm you as you have not mentioned for which course you are asking. But I heard that this time at LPU due to covid 19 impact LPU relaxed eligibility norms. In the maximum number of the programmes/courses LPU NEST plays a role of scholarship and in some courses it's mandatory to qualify it for eligibility purpose. One thing is for sure that you will get a scholarship with this percentage. It is mandatory to give exams for courses like B.Tech, MBA, Ph.D. LL. LPU NEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility for some of the programmes and for a scholarship for most of the programmes. With the best of my knowledge, this year as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, LPU has relaxed the eligibility requirements and now LPU NEST is mandatory only for B.Tech, Masters of Agriculture and Ph.D. programmes.
