    This question was posted a year ago. Now, we are in 2019. As you specifically asked for LPU-NEST I will provide you the link for LPU-NEST 2019 which is for taking admission in 2019. As a general note, LPU-NEST serves both eligibility as well as scholarship criteria, apart from eligibility exam percentage. Please check the following link:-

    Dear student, LPU NEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility for some of the programmes and for scholarship for most of the programs. So kindly mention the programme you want to opt for or directly refer the website.

    You need to specify that you are asking for which programme as eligibility of each programmes differs. For some programmes LPU NEST is mandatory Like, engineering, hotel management, Law, Design etc.

    It depends on the programme you want to apply for. It is mandatory for courses like B.Tech, MBA, etc. Check the website for details.

    It entirely depends upon the eligibility condition of the programme in which you are seeking admission and to know about the admission criteria of your interested programme you can visit the university website.

    Dear Aspirant, LPU NEST stands for Lovely Professional University National Entrance & Scholarship Test. This exam is conducted by the LPU at National level in order to decide the eligibility of the candidate for admission into a programme (where LPU NEST is mandatory) & offers scholarship based on their performance on this exam. It has its cut-off marks like any other National Level Test.     LPU NEST is not only the eligibility satisfying component, it also provides scholarship based on candidates performance in the test, so one should appear in the test to avail the scholarship benefits. And not all programs running is LPU require LPU NEST qualification as an admission criterion. To know about the eligibility conditions of desired programme you can visit the official website, Additionally I would like to mention that there are numerous courses at LPU in which you can take direct admission based on previous qualification e. g. B.A. B.A. B.Com BCA etc.

    This question is hard to answer unless you mention the desired course name. Every course has its own and different eligibility criteria so kindly refer the website of LPU and check the eligibility criteria of the programmes.

    LPU NEST (NATIONAL ENTRANCE & SCHOLARSHIP TEST) is totally depends upon the programme you are choosing, for some programme it is mandatory for some it is not. LPU NEST has MCQ's and No negative marking so there are chances that you will score good, marks scored in LPU NEST can also help you in fetching scholarship of the respected programme.

    The writing of the LPU NEST is mandatory or not depends upon the course in which you are taking admission. LPU offers more than 150 courses and each course have its own eligibility pattern. So, in some courses direct admission is available. Where as in others LPU NEST if mandatory to appear to from the eligibility of the course.

Candidates must visit official website, nest.lpu.in and log in by entering Email ID/ Mobile Number/ Application Number and Password and clicking on Log in. Click on LPUNEST slot booking option, available slots will be displayed on screen. Only candidates who have submitted application and fee payment can do slot booking. Select preferred centre, city, date and time for exam, and save preferences. Reservations will be made on a first come, first served basis. LPU NEST slot booking must be done at least 3 days before date of exam.

For a candidate who fails to complete Slot Booking before specified deadline, university books a slot for that candidate. Candidates must specify 5 choices of test centres in application form. LPU may book any of preferred slots for the candidate, depending on availability. In case none of the preferred slots of the candidate is available, another slot may be allotted by the university.
