It completely depends on the programme that you want to take admission in. LPU NEST is conducted by LPU for different programmes for Eligibility and Scholarship purpose as well. The purpose of LPU NEST is different for different programmes. For some programmes, it is for Eligibility and Scholarship purpose and for some programmes it is just for Scholarship purpose only. Around 40% marks are required in LPU NEST in order to qualify it for Eligibility purpose whereas for Scholarship purpose, the cut-off are required to be qualified based on which Scholarship is applicable.

    Hello,
Some programmes like engineering, Ph.D. LPU NEST is mandatory (Exemptions applied on National level tests) and in case of availing admission in BBA B.Com B.Sc. Computer Science, etc. LPU NEST is not mandatory. According to the eligibility criteria only, we can define LPU NEST is taken as a parameter or not. All the best.

LPU is one such university which takes admissions after a student qualifies the eligibility criteria, one such criteria is LPU NEST. LPU NEST is an exam whose syllabus totally based on you previously qualified course. Depending upon the course, the eligibility criteria varries, let's focus on B.Tech, in that case, even if you have 90% in 10+2, you still need to qualify LPU-NEST to get admission in LPU. It is not that difficult, it is the least fulfilling criteria to get admission in LPU. On can visit the official website of LPU from where they can find everything about LPU NEST. May it be syllabus, exam dates, or sample question papers

Dear Teja, It depends on the programme you are selecting. For example, If you are looking for B.Tech, then LPU NEST is mandatory or if you are looking for B.A. Then it is not mandatory. I will explain more about it. As a alumni of LPU, I have a bit of idea about LPU NEST and other scholarships. Lovely Professional University conducts its own test LPU NEST (National Entrance & Scholarship Test). This test forms the basis of eligibility for some of the programmes and scholarship for most of the programmes. The amount of scholarship depends on the fee of the programme, date of admission and performance of the student in LPU NEST. LPU NEST

In order to get admission into any course in LPU, the candidate has to meet the eligibility requirements. LPU NEST exam in LPU after 10+2 is required as a part of eligibility and it also benefits the student for scholarship basis certain cut-off scores. Taking the above percentage into consideration, the aforesaid information will depend upon the course opted by the candidate I. e in which course the candidate wishes to take admission. There are courses in which the candidate can take direct admission without even appearing for this test.

LPUNEST is necessary for judging the capability of a student and providing more pathways to scholarships. It is a convenient and flexible test too. You cannot take admission in most of the programs in LPU if you didn't qualify for LPUNEST.Well, LPU NEST is a huge opportunity for students to prove their self-worth and understanding of the concepts. It is a test carefully designed to check the understanding of the student of concepts from Science to management to all.
It is a very flexible examination. There are some exceptions to this but they are just in some handful of the programs. Please check this on the admission website of LPU.

You will get two chances to qualify test . If somehow you will not able to appear in first attempt then in second chance you can apply and qualify it by getting maximum scholarship in course fees. If the candidate is not satisfied with his/her marks in LPU NEST, he/she can retake the examination in the subsequent phases which will be conducted throughout the year. LPU has allowed attempts for the same examination so that students can improve their scores and become eligible for scholarship. It is advisable to use this time between retakes for focusing on weak areas, practicing more mock tests, and revising key concepts to perform better on the next attempt.

Dear,   The amount of time you should spend daily preparing for LPUNEST depends on your current knowledge level, the programme you are applying for, and how much time is left before the exam. On average, it is recommended to dedicate 2–4 hours daily for focused preparation over several months.

For students appearing for B.Tech or science-based programs, daily sessions can be divided into 1 hour each for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and 30 minutes for English and Aptitude, with short breaks in between. For MBA or Law aspirants, you may focus on Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, English, General Knowledge, and Current A

In order to manage time wisely during the LPU NEST examination, candidates should start their preparation by having some knowledge about the exam pattern and syllabus. Candidates should take up regular timed mock tests that have a similar environment as the real exam in order to keep on improving with their speed and accuracy. It would be best to start with the questions with which candidates feel comfortable. Leaving out difficult questions would allow the candidates to return to them later, if time permits. Some target-setting, mini-deadlines for each section, should help ensure that pacing remains in balance. There are a few calcula
