Both options are good but i am talking for LPU because i am an alumni of LPU. In Civil Engineering LPU emphasizes the evolution of manmade infrastructure as LPU understands how they have evolved to the present scenario. With the advancement of technology in leaps and bounds, the future of civil engineering in the years to come will be crucial, especially with the establishment of smart cities. LPU is nurturing our students to adapt and be equipped with this ever-changing scenario. To cater to these needs the department is structured into five vibrant centers of studies: Structural. Hydraulics. Environment. Geotechnica. Transportation. As per my friends experiences, those are graduated in civil from LPU. LPU is Imparting knowledge through site visits, case studies, real-time designs of structures. It has well-equipped lab facilities like concrete testing, cement testing, soil testing, surveying, highway material testing, and structural mechanics. They are Teaching through PPTs, videos, images, and animations. Chandigarh University is undoubtedly the outperformer in placements in entire North India where more than 50 fortune 500 companies come for recruitment process. Even in difficult times like these, we are well prepaired for the in-campus placement after the situation is bit under control and the placements will be held and we are sure that we will be breaking all the previous records.

Hello Rohit, With no other thought it’s CU. In term of placements, they hold Limca book of records. I do not think that any other thing is required to be said after this. More than 2000 placements in first two months of 2020 is a self-narrative. The outcome of completing a degree is to get placed in a reputed company. As far as Chandigarh University is concerned, it provides practical knowledge and live projects in civil engineering and gives a huge platform to showcase your talent in front of number of companies with high repute. It is the only private university in Punjab to be ranked as A+ by NAAC which LPU does not have any NAAC accreditation.
