I have done my higher education from Quantum University and can tell you that my university is better than other University in many ways. Quantum University allows students to follow interdisciplinary education. Under interdisciplinary pedagogy, students are allowed to pursue a major in one discipline and minor in another discipline. A student is allowed to choose the syllabus as per his own choice. Without any doubt I can say that quantum university  is so far a better University than other University. In this location quantum universi provides very good education in the very less fee structure.

CAT 2024 changes mean candidates should focus on new question types and DILR section updates to stay competitive GIBS recommends adapting prep strategies early for better results.

The exam increased questions from 66 to 68, notably adding two in DILR and removing para jumbles in VARC, shifting focus to analytical reasoning. Such pattern shifts call for greater emphasis on accuracy and time management to maximize CAT scores effectively, especially for aspirants targeting top schools like GIBS.

    • DILR gain matters: Two extra, well-structured questions mean more scoring potential—if managed well.

    • VARC demands better integration skills, as formats evolve from past years.

    • Fast, adaptive time management is essential—especially under slot-to-slot difficulty variation.

    • TITA offers relief—no negative marking gives more room to attempt thoughtfully.

    • Stay competitive—moderate difficulty but tighter cutoffs require sharper performance.

    • No major changes in 2024: The CAT 2024 pattern closely follows that of the previous year. There are still three sections:

      • Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC)

      • Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR)

      • Quantitative Aptitude (QA)

    • Total Questions: 66 questions overall.

    • Duration: 120 minutes (2 hours), with 40 minutes strictly allotted for each section. You cannot switch sections during the test window.

    • Question Types: Both Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) and Non-MCQs (Type-In-The-Answer/TITA) are included.

    • Marking Scheme: +3 marks for correct answers, -1 for incorrect (MCQs), and 0 for unattempted. No negative marking for Non-MCQs

For CAT 2024, which returns to the classic three-section format (Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning, Verbal and Reading Comprehension), candidates should prioritize conceptual understanding and precision over rushing through questions.

GIBS Business School Bangalore accepts CAT scores for admission to its PGDM program, requiring candidates to have graduated with at least 50% marks and a valid CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, GMAT, or ATMA score.

Admission also considers academic records, Statement of Purpose, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview.

Hence, the pattern shift in CAT 2024 complements GIBS's holistic se

The CAT 2024 exam pattern will likely remain similar to the previous year, with three sections (VARC, DILR, and QA) and a total duration of 120 minutes. While minor changes in question types and difficulty levels are possible, these are unlikely to be drastic. Candidates should focus on a balanced preparation strategy across all sections and familiarize themselves with the exam interface and marking scheme

The CAT 2024 pattern changes indicate a strategic shift, possibly to better assess aptitude over speed. Aspirants must now prioritize accuracy and time management even more. These tweaks could level the playing field, favoring deep conceptual understanding.

The CAT 2024 pattern changes are relatively minor, but still important to note. The main change is the increase in the total number of questions from 66 to 68, with two additional questions in the Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) section ¹ ².

Here's a breakdown of the changes:

    - *Total Questions*: Increased from 66 to 68

    - *DILR Section*: Two additional questions, making it 22 questions in total

    - *VARC and QA Sections*: No changes, remaining at 24 and 22 questions respectively

    - *Total Marks*: Increased from 198 to 204

    - *Exam Duration*: Remains the same, 2 hours with 40 minutes per section

    - *Marking Scheme*:
