I doubt whether you will get IIT or NIT as your score is average. Apart from IIT, NIT's top colleges for engineering are National Institute of Technology, R. V. College of Engineering, Delhi Technological University, College of Engineering Pune, UPES Dehradun, Lovely Professional University etc. It would be a good choice to opt for Lovely Professional University as in the present scenario this is the university which caters to the all round development of its students and nurtures it with care to boost the career to a pinnacle of ultimate success which might be the envy of many. Dear Deep, I am not sure about the eligibility criteria for the B.Tech programme at IITs or NITs but I can share the same for LPU as my cousin took admission to the B.Tech in CSE at LPU last month. You should have a minimum of 60% marks in the 12th class with English Maths and Physics. Moreover, you have to either qualify for the LPU NEST exam or JEE Mains with a minimum of 85 percentile. LPU offers B.Tech in various programmes such as CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc. I recommended my cousin to do B.Tech from LPU itself. Good Placement: Every year more than 500+ companies including national an

The criteria to get admission in top colleges is to score 75% or in the top 20 percentile if top 20 percentile students score 65% then you are eligible at above this score say 65.1%, don't focus on these things just prepare the best and you will definitely score it.

Yes. You have to score min 75% in HSS. Moreover, try to score better rank in JEE Mains because JEE Mains is the key to IITs and NITs.
