    Hello Deep,
For the candidates to qualify for the admission in the IITs/NITs/IIITs and such other CFTIs whose admissions are based on the JEE (Advanced)/JEE (Main)ranks, they should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination.
    Good luck.
    Thank you.

Check out the JEE Mains 2018 eligibility criteria to clear every single doubt coming in your mind.
Visit: https://scoop.eduncle.com/jee-mains-eligibility-criteria to get the complete details.
According to this, the candidates who have scored at least 75% marks in the 12th class are only eligible for appearing in the JEE Mains exam.
So, if you can't appear in the JEE Mains exam, then you can can't get admission in any of the NITs or IITs.
If you haven't scored 75% in 12th, then you can go for the improvement exam or the NIOS exam.
    I hope, this will help.
    All the best.

Admission to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs participating through Central Seat Allocation Board will be based on All India Rank subject to the condition that the candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class examination.
