How are the hostel facilities at LPU?

I would like to highlight some of the features. 1. Turnstile gates are there at the entry of every hostel, and CCTvs are also installed in every hostel for the security reasons. Moreover, security guards are there in every hostel, and in campus, you will find security guards at every 100 m. 2. Proper cleaning is there for hostel rooms and attach washroom is there. 3.24*7 electricity, water supply, and Wi-fi facility. 4. If there is any issue related to room, you can put online requests or complaints about the same (RMS) through UMS. For eg, If the fan stopped working just lodge the complaint and it will be resolved as soon as possible. 5. Apart from mess facilities, every hostel has a departmental store as well as a canteen so that all the student's needs are fulfilled.

Being a alumni of Lovely Professional University, I would like to answer this question. I have lived in hostel and I hope this will help you get a clear picture of the kind of life a hosteler leads at the Lovely Professional University. The first thing that almost parents are concerned about is the safety. And LPU is one campus that takes security of all their students very seriously. There are automated biometric machines that keep a record of each entry and exit in the hostel. Next comes food, the mess here is super hygienic and provides us with quality food four times a day. We also have an in-house hospital in the campus that is staffed with resident medical officers. There is also medical lab, dieticians, and physiotherapists who take proper care of our health. Check it out the following features of LPU hostel rooms which are same for all types of rooms:- Separate residential facility for boys and girls within the campus. Rooms with attached washroom (except in certain dormitory rooms), B.Ed (without mattress), table, chair and almirahs. Air cooler / Air Conditioner facility in each room (as opted). Arrangement for power supply through dedicated 24 hours hotlines. Geyser in each room to provide hot water in winters (scheduled timings) for two hours per room every day or as decided by the University. In campus Hospital with ambulance to provide medical assistance to students. Internet connectivity through Wi-Fi system for scheduled timing for academic purposes only and subject to conditions. Power backup for light load only (not for AC/ Geyser/ Air cooler). Mess facility Parking two wheeler/car facility at designated places only. Gymnasium (optional on payment basis). Overall, my experience at the LPU hostel has been delightful thus far. I look forward to explore more and ensure that I avail all the benefits provided to us.

Hi, There are many facilities in hostels. Some basic facilities provided are: 1) 24 Hrs. Security Services, CCTV Surveillance, Electricity Backup, Water Supply. 2) Turnstile gates are there at the entry of every hostel for security reasons. 3) 24 Hrs. Medical Service (Medicines and tests on Payment) 4)24 Hrs. Staff Assistance, Study Room, TV Room. 5) Lift Facility, Fire Fighting System and Purified Water Facility 6) Maintenance Services 7) Wi-Fi Services. 8) Library facility till 12 midnight. 9) Ragging free campus.

Dear Deep, Apart from the academics, every university provides the option to the students who are from far flung area to stay inside the campus. LPU also offers such a facility to its students, staff and faculty who are from far-flung areas where commuting is not possible. There is no doubt that you can live out of LPU but what I feel is that your security and safety should be at the top priority list. I want to highlight the facilities which LPU is offering under its stay: 1. Separate residential Facility for the students with different seater. 2. Rooms are with B.Ed study table, chair, almirahs, desert cooler and geyser. 3. AC rooms are also available in the above category. 4. Differential and hygienic food facility 5. Laundry facility 6. Gym facility to remain fit 7. Safety and security to be the most prior 8. Over and above the medical facility being provided inside the beautiful campus. 9. Mess and canteen facility in every hostel is there. 10.24*7 electricity supply and Wi-Fi. 11. There are general facilities such as: dedicated hotline and power backup for 24 hrs power supply at university campus. 12.60+ATMs of 5 nationalized banks and Post Office facilities for money transfer, speed post, etc. 13. Study room, TV room, Saloon, Photocopy Machines, Departmental store for daily needs, Cafeteria, vending Machine (soft drinks), Lifts and Parking facility. 14. University-Mall, an eight- storied complex, houses departmental stores, various shops, banks, food-courts. These help students to meet their daily needs on the campus itself. 15. There are 100+ eating joints across the university at different locations near hostel areas. 16. Academic support and recreational sports are also provided. LPU has the world's the largest residential facilities. It has all the necessary facilities so that the students feel at home and can study without any difficulties. It provides extreme security to both boys and girls, has Wi-Fi facility, no ragging, good mess food, and is separate for girls and boys. LPU provides safe and secure residential facilities for boys and girls separately. There is zero tolerance to ragging, alcohol, smoking, drugs and disciplinary misconduct. Turnstile gates with biometric machines for entry and exit. In-House laundry facilities available at nominal charges, Mess food available in every hostel that provides good quality and hygienic food. LPU is a university, which offers excellent living accommodation within the campus, separately for boys and Girls. LPU offers residential facilities to the students, staff and faculty who are from far flung areas where commuting is not possible. Honestly mentioning, I have never experienced the residential facility of the University but one of my friend who stayed in hostel highlighted the following points: 1. Automated turnstile gates with biometric machines regulate entry & exit of the residential facility. 2. Clean & Green Environment 3. Separate residential Facility for the students with different seater. 4. Rooms are with B.Ed study table, chair, almirahs, desert cooler and geyser. 5 AC rooms are also available in the above category. 6. Differential and hygienic food facility and Mess and canteen facility in every hostel is there. 7. Laundry facility 8. Gym facility to remain fit 9.
