How are the hostel facilities at LPU?

Dear Deep, LPU offers excellent living accommodation within the campus, separately for boys and girls. The university understands the expectations of students who come here from a wide variety of cultural and geographical zones and perhaps leave their homes for the first time in their lives. The university ensures making this transition smooth and comfortable. The university has a wide range of options. Meets the needs of all students. There are rooms ranging from Standard Rooms to Apartments and students can opt for accommodation as per their convenience and choice. The hostels at LPU are basically of two types: 1. Standard Rooms: Standard Rooms at LPU hostels are arrangements like lodges where students can live in a shared 4/ 3/ 2/ 1-seater room with the option of having the room Air Cooled or Air-Conditioned Ventilation. The following amenities are provided to students of these rooms. B.Ed Plastic Chair Study Table Almirah Geyser AC/Air Cooler (As Applicable) 2. Apartments: The apartment accommodation at LPU is 1,2,3,4 rooms with attached washrooms. There are facilities constructed for providing luxurious accommodation. The apartment has a common kitchen area, dining, and lobby area. Some other features of Apartments at LPU are given below. Wooden Box B.Ed Plastic Chair Study Table Almirah AC Geyser The university is committed to zero tolerance to ragging, alcohol, smoking, drugs, and disciplinary misconduct. Automated turnstile gates with biometric machines regulate entry & exit to a residential facility. LPU provides you a good hostel facility. LPU has fully secured student residence facility. The separate hotel facility is provided to boys and girls. The hostels are offered to students on a sharing basis (two or three mostly) and single basis (as per the needs of students subject to availability). LPU has CITY IN A CAMPUS which means all the facilities of the city are available in one campus. LPU provides Safe and secure residential facility for boys and girls. LPU does have apartments, standard rooms and dormitories so you can choose as per your choice the room. Hostels are very good and clean and have all the amenities. You will have water purifiers on each floor which are very frequently maintained. When choosing a hostel, you will have a lot of options whether you want to opt for AC or Cooler rooms or whether you want to have 1 seater, 2 seater, 3 seater rooms, etc. Also, good care is taken to ensure that cleanliness is always maintained. Rooms are cleaned about 2 to 3 times per week. Also, if you have any problem in your room, you can lodge a complaint and the management of the hostel will make sure to get the issue resolved at the earliest. About the Wi-Fi services, it is available almost everywhere on the campus. The things that you can enjoy or the security that you get inside the campus can never be compared to that when you live outside. You will not find even a single case of ragging because it is literally impossible.

I can answer you well as my cousion is studying at LPU She told me LPUs residential Facilities are indeed exceptionally well organised and maintained. The hostel administration here is very cooperative and caring. When it comes to Home like Healthy stay LPUs residential Facilities are Number 1. Facilities at hostels: 1. Separate residential facility for boys and girls within the campus 2. Rooms with attached washroom, B.Ed (without mattress), table, chair and almirahs except in certain dormitory rooms. 3. Air cooler / Air Conditioner (with attached washroom) facility in each room (as opted) 4. Arrangement for power supply through dedicated 24 hours hotlines 5. Geyser in each room to provide hot water in winters (scheduled timings) for two hours per room every day or as decided by the University. 6. In-campus Hospital with ambulance to provide medical assistance to students 7. Internet connectivity through Wi-Fi system for scheduled timing for academic purposes only and subject to conditions. 8. Power backup for light load only (not for AC/Geyser/Air cooler). 9. Mess facility available. 10. Parking two wheeler/car facility at designated places only. 11. Gymnasium (optional on payment basis) XII. Students in residential facility are permitted to keep Electrical Kettles, Electrical Irons, Laptop, Mobile Charger, Shaving Set, Trimmer, Hair Straightener and Hair Dryer. Being a alumni of Lovely Professional University, I would like to answer this question. I have lived in hostel and I hope this will help you get a clear picture of the kind of life a hosteler leads at the Lovely Professional University. The first thing that almost parents are concerned about is the safety. And LPU is one campus that takes security of all their students very seriously. There are automated biometric machines that keep a record of each entry and exit in the hostel. Next comes food, the mess here is super hygienic and provides us with quality food four times a day. We also have an in-house hospital in the campus that is staffed with resident medical officers. There is also medical lab, dieticians, and physiotherapists who take proper care of our health. Check it out the following features of LPU hostel rooms which are same for all types of rooms:- Separate residential facility for boys and girls within the campus. Hi there, Well, I being an alumni as well as an existing student of LPU am eligible to answer your question. I have stayed in LPU-hostels for 4 years and that has been an amazing experience of my life. The environment over there is quite over-whelming and healthy. LPU does provide the residential facility to its students as a plus point. To the best of my own experience, I feel the life at LPU hostels is happening and mesmerizing. The first and most important thing is that hostels are least distant from the block where classes are conducted. The second thing, you get to utilize library till late night upto 12 AM and during exams upto 2 AM. A hostler can choose to avail mess facility or not depends completely on a student. But availing the food facility is better keeping the quality of food and nutrition in concern. The drinking water is available at each floor, corridors are under CCTV surveillance. LPU does provide you all the types of rooms you want, like single seater, two-seater, three-seater and similarly four-seater. To my perception, all the rooms are quite good, every student is provided a single-B. Ed, a chair and table, and an almirah. All the mentioned kinds of rooms have a single attached washroom. Overall the rooms are comfortable. I prefer to stay in LPU hostels rather than staying in an outside PG. Hope this helps. Thanks.

If you ever visit LPU you will see that it is a worldwide standard university, stunning infrastructure, resources and facilities. I have spent 2 years now in a LPU hostel so I want to mention to make yourself clear. 24 *7 open hospital with well experienced doctors and nurses long with medical shop is also functions 24 hours continuously. Zero Ragging/ Zero Discrimination: Nobody is ragged at LPU, This word really doesn't exist here at LPU. There is a complete secularism in the LPU hostel life as you will discover seniors and juniors treated similarly at the Campus and even at the Hostel. Thus, there is no division among the students, according their academic year like other campus hostels. Outdoor Games/ Indoor Games/Gym: There are such countless spots at the Campus for open air games and as well as indoor games. Some are campus properties and some are vendor properties (game Zone) for like snooker, bowling, chess, etc. Where you'll have to pay to play. Residential facility on campus is much safer and secure as 24 X 7 X 365 security is available and CCTVs are installed at all prominent locations throughout the campus.

The hostels of LPU are most comfortable and damn strict. There is no compromise when it comes to the security of the students. LPU residential facilities are as state of the art as the campus is. There is round-the-clock vigil through security cameras and there is a huge army of security personnel deployed all over the university. LPU has a hostel from 1 seater to 6 Seater including the AC and Non AC. To maintain cleanliness, rooms are cleaned about 23 times per week. The room has an Air Conditioner, attached washroom, and Geyser in each room. Wooden Box B.Ed Study Table, Chair and Almirah. Students have to seek permission to use electrical gadgets having maximum load upto 5 ampere per apartment. One and two Seater apartments have attached lobby and kitchenette. There is an electricity backup and water supply. In addition to it, staff assistance and medical service (Medicines and tests On Payment). Study Room, TV Room, Lift Facility, Fire Fighting System, Purified Water Facility, Maintenance Services, Wi-Fi Service, Free Electricity Units (As Applicable). There is 24 hr. Electricity backup Water Supply, and services available. There are mess services, laundry services, dedicated parking, departmental store, cafeteria, saloon for boys, printing and copier machines, shops in all hostels, Guest Rooms, Car Wash Facility, Shopping Mall and Tuck Shops. From ala care to regional mess, the LPU hostel has all. It has North Indian, South Indian, Rajasthan and many other regional messes. A student can choose the food as per his or her taste. The quality of food is good. Parathas, Butter, Curd, Milk, Tea is served at breakfast. In lunch Dry Vegetables, Dal, any Gravy item, Rice, Chapati and Raita are served. The dinner Chapati, Seasonal Vegetables, Rice and Desserts. The campus is ragging-free, drug-free and tobacco-free. If someone has a problem in connection with the residential facilities room, one can lodge a complaint. The hostel management looks into the matter and resolves it at the earliest. The female guards are deployed in the girls' hostels. There are female security guards who look after the security of the girls' hostel. The campus is ragging-free, tobacco-free, and drug-free so there is no need to fear. The Girls who want to study in the Central library at night are allotted 2 hrs. Of time and are accompanied by guards to the library and back from the library to their respective hostels. Girls are not allowed to roam around the hostel till late.
