How are the hostel facilities at LPU?

I have some LPU hosteler friends who always talk about LPU life like this and in nutshell I would say their hostel life is really amazing on that behalf I would say Students are excited about the brand new Bowling Alley opened at LPU campus. They can now play various games, enjoy a fun time bowling with friends and also relish some delicious cuisines under one roof! BENEFITS OF STAYING IN A HOSTEL: 24x7 Library Access The residential faculty & staff provide after-hours guidance and support to the students, in case they need any academic or life advice. Students have the opportunity to become independent! Students residing on the campus can earn while studying by taking up part-time jobs in labs, libraries, sales, shopping malls, etc. In-house laundry services are available at a nominal charge to students. Gym Facility The campus has a 24 hours 30 B.Ed hospital which is staffed with resident medical officers, a medical lab, dieticians, and physiotherapists. <p>With over 25,000 seats and adequate mess facilities, LPU has one of the biggest residential facilities. University has about eight males and seven girls hostels. LPU also have an apartment, which is a separated space with a tiny kitchen. There are four-seater, three-seater, two-seater, one-seater, and four-six-seater hostels, and there are four-seater, three-seater, two-seater, and one-seater apartment types.<br><br>The hostel at LPU provides 24/7 power supply, gym, laundry, mess, and Wi-Fi. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful, with additional facilities such as room service, a salon, general stores, and a canteen. Any inconvenience can be reported through RMS and will be resolved promptly. The hostel administration is cooperative and the residential facilities are well organized and maintained. LPU's residential facilities are highly regarded for providing a healthy stay.</p>

Hello, Deep Ughareja. My classmates used to live in hostels, so I can share as per that. The overall atmosphere of the hostel is calm and peaceful. There are various kinds of facilities available in hostels. It provides excellent residential amenities such as 24 hour power supply, gym, laundry, mess, Wi-Fi, and so on at an affordable price. <p>Hi,</p><p>Lovely Professional University(LPU) is getting considered in top 50 best Universities in India. If we want to understand the quality status of Institute, we check (National Assessment and Accreditation Council)NAAC grade. LPU got NAAC A++(score 3.68 out of 4). LPU has a large campus have area over 600 acres. It is an anti-ragging campus and has good security services as there are 7400+ CCTV cameras available in working condition. In LPU campus, there is Uni-mall and Uni-Hospital available.</p><p>If I talk about <strong>residential facilities</strong>, there are <strong>AC apartments</strong> from <strong>1 to 4 seater</strong> and <strong>standard rooms, both AC and non-AC</strong>, from <strong>1 to 8 seater</strong>. Hostels are in inside campus and having lift facilities, purified water, electricity backup for 24 hours, water supply for 24 hours, wi-fi service and printing shops in every hostel. Mess and laundry facilities are also there.</p><p>LPU appreciates sports very much. In LPU campus, there is Gym facility, indoor gaming facility such as Badminton, volley ball, basket ball, squash, combative sports, and gun shooting range is also available. For swimming, swimming pool is there. All these facilities can be opted with very genuine charges. Play grounds are there for outdoor gaming such as hockey, football and others.</p>

Hi There, I am my self a student of lovely professional university and staying at girls hostel and I can say that hostel is very safe and secure actually both the hostel girls and as well as boys hostel is having zero tolerance of ragging, smoking, drugs, alcohol and disciplinary misconduct. University provides the best environment to the students and security system. Security: they have female guards who took care of the security of girls hostel and the male guards who took care of boys hostel And there is 24X7 security cameras. Students are not allowed to roam around in the night. University not allowed the outsiders. Even parents have to get the GATE PASS for entering top the university. Facilities: There is attached wash room, air conditioner, and geyser is there in each room. Permission to use electrical gadgets having maximum load upto 5 ampere per apartment. In-campus Hospital facility is there with ambulance to provide medical assistance to students. Residential facility are permitted to keep Electrical Kettles, Electrical Irons, Steamer, Shaving Set, Trimmer, Hair Straightener and Hair Dryer. Extra electricity bill due to the usage of these electrical items will be borne by the respective students and so on. I hope this will help you.

There are a quite large number of hostels in LPU campus. There are 6 Girls hostels and 8 boys hostels. The rooms are of different seater like 1 seater, 2 seater, 3 seater and 4 seater. Apartments are also available in 2, 3 and 4 seater. There are two types of rooms I. e cooler and AC. Students can also opt for dormitory of 6 to 8 people. There are atms, barber, laundry, mess, canteens, tv rooms, store rooms, study room, parks etc. Inside each hostel.

LPU has a hostel from 1 seater to 6 Seater including the AC and Non AC. To maintain cleanliness, rooms are cleaned about 23 times per week. The room has an Air Conditioner, attached washroom, and Geyser in each room. Wooden Box B.Ed Study Table, Chair, and Almirah. Students have to seek permission to use electrical gadgets having a maximum load of up to 5 amperes per apartment. One and two Seater apartments have attached lobby and kitchenette. There is an electricity backup and water supply. In addition to it, staff assistance and medical service (Medicines and tests On Payment). Study Room, TV Room, Lift Facility, Fire Fighting System, Purified Water Facility, Maintenance Services, Wi-Fi Service, Free Electricity Units (As Applicable). There are 24 hr. Electricity backup Water Supply, and services available. There are mess services, laundry services, dedicated parking, departmental store, cafeteria, saloon for boys, printing and copier machines, shops in all hostels, Guest Rooms, Car Wash Facility, Shopping Mall, and Tuck Shops. From ala care to regional mess, the LPU hostel has all. It has North Indian, South Indian, Rajasthan, and many other regional messes. A student can choose the food as per his or her taste. The quality of food is good. Parathas, Butter, Curd, Milk, Tea are served at breakfast. At lunch, Dry Vegetables, Dal, any Gravy item, Rice, Chapati, and Raita are served. In dinner Chapati, Seasonal Vegetables, Rice and Desserts are served. The campus is ragging-free, drug-free, and tobacco-free. If someone has a problem in connection with the residential facilities room, one can complain. The hostel management looks into the matter and resolves it at the earliest. The female guards are deployed in the girls' hostels. There are female security guards who look after the security of the girls' hostel. The Girls who want to study in the Central library at night are allotted 2 hrs. Of time and are accompanied by guards to the library and back from the library to their respective hostels. Girls are not allowed to roam around the hostel till late at night. No outsiders are allowed. Even the parents have to get a GATE pass to enter the university premises. Strict disciplinary actions are taken against those who indulge in indiscipline. This is the reason why we don't come across any untoward incidents.
