Being an Alumnus, I would like to say that LPU is a place with an ultra-modern lush green sprawling campus at the national highway near Jalandhar, LPU's infrastructure is considered one of the biggest and best in the world. The campus has transformed a lot over the past years and introduced some superb facilities like state-of-the-art laboratories, a central library, well-equipped labs, premium boys and girls hostel, world-class smart classrooms, Wi-Fi, theatres, museum, auditoriums, indoor stadium, and playground There is also a well-planned cricket stadium, shopping malls, dining options, hospital, ATMs, banks, post office, food joints &amp; cafeterias, in-house laundry, gym, lounge, and many more located within the campus LPU has the largest residential capacity globally, having all the facilities to serve the fundamental needs. Among them, 8 are Boys Hostels and 6 are Girls Hostel and 3 Apartments. In the hostel room, you will be provided with the following facilities- attached washroom air-cooled/air-conditioned 2 Iron B.Ed 2 Study Table, 2 Plastic Chair, 2 Almirah, 1 Geyser, 1 AC/ 1 Air Cooler (As Applicable) 24 Hrs. Hello! Dear being the alumni of LPU. I would like to share my experience of LPU hostel life LPU campus is regarded as one of the best campuses among private universities in India. Similarly, LPUs infrastructure is one of the biggest and best in the world. The campus of LPU is surrounded by trees and gardens that make teaching and learning environment more comfortable. The pollution-free and healthy environment at LPU campus is other major highlights of the campus. In LPU, the key points of hostel facilities are1. CCTV based security in both boys and girls hostel. 2. A dedicated team of warden and workers who are available in the hostel for 24 hours in shifts to provide facilities to students. 3. Best north, south and other food facilities in the mess with quality and taste 4. Near to hostels, there are playgrounds to play basketball, football, badminton, cricket. 5. Indoor stadium for swimming, gyming, and learning various exciting games 6. Flexible timing to visit Unimall, library and work at innovation studio 7. Due to students from across the country, students are getting interacted with them and capturing various positive vibes in terms of language and knowledge sharing. 8. In the weekends, DSW (Department of student welfare organizes various activities related to sports and entertainment for hostel students. 9. Hostels are fully air-cooled with the option of both cooler and AC. 10. The rooms have attached the washroom and each student has a separate B.Ed chair, study table, fan, almirah with locker facility. 11 Power backup for light load only (not for AC/ Geyser/ Air cooler). 12 Mess facility with vegetarian meals only. LPU has fully secured student residence facility. The separate hotel facility is provided to boys and girls. The hostels are offered to students on a sharing basis (two or three mostly) and single basis (as per the needs of students subject to availability). LPU does have apartments, standard rooms and dormitories so you can choose as per your choice the room. There are more than 20 Lacs books and e-books on all subject fields. Students have opportunity to become independent! Students residing in the campus can earn while studying by taking up part time jobs in labs, library, sales, shopping mall etc. 3) Safe &amp; Secure - Manned by over 400 full time security officials, thousands of security cameras, LPU is one of the safest campuses in the world. The University has its very own fire station department. How can one forget the hostel life the gossips with friends. Being an alumnus let me share with you the hostel facilities. The residential faculty &amp; staff provide after-hours guidance and support to the students, in case they need any academic or life advice. Sports facility is being introduced with membership of 3 different packages of games:SwimmingShootingSquash, Badminton, Volleyball, Basketball and Combative sports. Students can join all these memberships on a yearly basis. The campus has a 24 hours 30 B.Ed hospital which is staffed with resident medical officers, medical lab, dieticians and physiotherapists. In house laundry services are available at a nominal charges to students. Keeping student's requirements in mind, University offers quality residence (offering above average necessities) for their living comforts. Become independent! Students residing in the campus can earn while studying by taking up part time jobs in labs, library, sales, shopping mall etc. Become independent! Hi, The hostel facilities are great at LPU. Let's take the example of the 4-seater room- The 4 seater room has 4 B.Ed 4 Study Table, 4 Plastic Chair, 4 Single Almirah, 1 AC/Air cooler (depending upon whether you opt for AC room or the other one), 1 Geyser with an attached washroom. There are copious facilities in Hostels. Some of the facilities are: 24 Hrs. Security Services, CCTV Surveillance, Electricity Backup, Water Supply. Turnstile gates are there at the entry of every hostel for security reasons. 24 Hrs. Medical Service (Medicines and tests on Payment) 24 Hrs. Staff Assistance, Study Room, TV Room. Lift Facility, Fire Fighting System, and Purified Water Facility Maintenance Services Wi-Fi Services. Library facility till 12 midnight. Thanks.

Being an alumnus of Lovely Professional University I will definitely recommend you LPU, as it is one of a kind, growing not only in its infrastructure but also in the facilities, placement packages and is becoming an aspiring institution, setting the paradigm for other upcoming institutions. LPU has achieved many awards for placement, campus, and even for a best private university. All the facilities and services are the same in all the rooms. The Residential has the following Facilities in all the rooms: A separate residential facility for boys and girls within the campus. Rooms with attached washroom (except in certain dormitory rooms), B.Ed (without mattress), table, chair, and almirahs. Air cooler / Air Conditioner facility in each room (as opted). Arrangement for power supply through dedicated 24 hours hotlines. Geyser in each room to provide hot water in winters (scheduled timings) for two hours per room every day or as decided by the University. In campus Hospital with an ambulance to provide medical assistance to students. Internet connectivity through Wi-Fi system for scheduled timing for academic purposes only and subject to conditions. Power backup for light load only (not for AC/ Geyser/ Air cooler). Mess facility with vegetarian meals only. Parking two-wheeler/car facility at designated places only. Gymnasium (optional on payment basis). Dear Deep, LPU offers excellent living accommodation within the campus, separately for boys and girls. The university understands the expectations of students who come here from a wide variety of cultural and geographical zones and perhaps leave their homes for the first time in their lives. The university ensures making this transition smooth and comfortable. The university has a wide range of options. Meets the needs of all students. There are rooms ranging from Standard Rooms to Apartments and students can opt for accommodation as per their convenience and choice. The hostels at LPU are basically of two types: 1. Standard Rooms: Standard Rooms at LPU hostels are arrangements like lodges where students can live in a shared 4/ 3/ 2/ 1-seater room with the option of having the room Air Cooled or Air-Conditioned Ventilation. The following amenities are provided to students of these rooms. B.Ed Plastic Chair Study Table Almirah Geyser AC/Air Cooler (As Applicable) 2. Apartments: The apartment accommodation at LPU is 1,2,3,4 rooms with attached washrooms. There are facilities constructed for providing luxurious accommodation. The apartment has a common kitchen area, dining, and lobby area. Some other features of Apartments at LPU are given below. Hostels are very good and clean and have all the amenities. You will have water purifiers on each floor which are very frequently maintained. When choosing a hostel, you will have a lot of options whether you want to opt for AC or Cooler rooms or whether you want to have 1 seater, 2 seater, 3 seater rooms, etc. Also, good care is taken to ensure that cleanliness is always maintained. Rooms are cleaned about 2 to 3 times per week. Also, if you have any problem in your room, you can lodge a complaint and the management of the hostel will make sure to get the issue resolved at the earliest. About the Wi-Fi services, it is available almost everywhere on the campus. The things that you can enjoy or the security that you get inside the campus can never be compared to that when you live outside. You will not find even a single case of ragging because it is literally impossible.
