How can I apply for admission at LPU?

I have checked the admission procedure of many universities, all have their own procedure of admission. But in the case of LPU, it does not provide direct admission to all the programme. A few programmes are there in which you can take direct admission. On the other hand, for most of the programmes at LPU, you have to qualify for their LPU NEST exam. Let me share the procedure of admission at LPU. I am taking an example of a B.Tech programme. Step 1 - Signup Register onto admission. Lpu. In with basic details (Name, Email ID, Mobile No. , State, Gender and Password). Your email id will act as your username for the portal and password will be set by you while registering on the portal. You will get a mail on your registered email id regarding this. Login to the admission. Lpu. In with already created username/ password. STEP 2 - Apply for LPU NEST (Eligibility and Scholarship Test) LPUNEST is an online test which acts as a gateway to programme you are interested in. Admission in this programme is done based on performance in LPU NEST. In addition, LPU NEST also act as Scholarship test and student can avail huge scholarship based on performance in this test. Deposit the test fee: Cost of Application form and Soft copy of LPU NEST Kit is 1000 (for Boys) and 500 (for Girls). Cost of Application form and Printed LPU NEST Kit is 1500 (for Boys) and 1000 (for Girls). Fill the test application form. STEP 3 - Book the Exam Slot and Appear Book the slot (preferred date and time) to appear in the Online Remotely Proctored LPU NEST Exam. Appear and qualify the exam. STEP 4 - Result and Seat Allotment (Online Counselling) Get your scorecard/ rank. Fill the seat preference. The student can give preferences which can vary in stream and programme. In the first round of counselling, depending upon the seat availability and preferences filled by the candidates, a particular preference number would be allotted. Download the allotment letter and proceed for admission step. STEP 5 - Admission Deposit initial payment of Rs. 20000. After the successful realization of the payment: A Unique Provisional Registration No. Will be generated and sent to your registered Email ID. Upload the documents: Recent Photograph, Matriculation Marksheet, Qualifying exam Certificate Address Proof All the submitted documents are to be verified from the originals within the prescribed timelines. Deposit the balance fee within the timelines prescribed by the university. I hope this helps Thanks!

You can visit the nearby office of LPU in your state. This can you know from visiting LPU website <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="www.lpu.in" style='word-wrap:break-word;'>www.lpu.in</a>. There you have to take your original documents with photostate of each document. From that office, you will take admission and you can apply for hostel type, food. You can apply for LPU NEST which will give you a scholarship. After that you will be asked for your nearby center references. U can give LPU NEST after that. Your admission procedure is completed. After that, you have to visit LPU on joining date and you have to verify your original documents in the LPU. After that, you will be given your identity card.

Well, it depends upon the programme you would like to take admission in. What eligibility criteria it follows. If the eligibility says subject to qualifying LPU NEST then you have to clear the entrance exam. In addition to qualifying it also provides you a good amount of scholarship if you score well. In case the eligibility of the programme says Pass or only states some percentage criteria, only then LPU NEST will not be a mandatory to qualify. Still in this case, a candidate has an option to appear for LPU NEST just for the sake of scholarship purposes. As LPU NEST is short for Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship test. In my opinion a candidate should appear for this exam even if it is not mandatory, the reason behind that is, there is a chance that you can avail a good scholarship. Hope I have answered your query. To begin, you must first create an account on LPUADMIT and provide basic information (Email ID, Name, Country, Mobile Number, Gender, and Password).
