I hv Dn b.com with 50%.i started ma eco but left. now i want to do ma eng. i hv studied eng as sub only in 3rd yr, got 67 marks. i want to become an eng teacher. can i do this? shud i do ma eng first or b.ed? what shud be subject combo in b.ed? is it necessary to study eng in all 3 yrs for govt job?
Hi Shilpi, 1. If you wish to be a teacher in school, then go for B.ED and crack Teacher Eligibility Test. Eligibility conditions are: (a) Bachelor's Degree with 50% marks in aggregate in the 10+2+3 or 11+2+2 pattern, or with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate in the 10+2+2 or 11+3 pattern (b) Having studied at least two subjects at the bachelor's degree level, to be later taken as school teaching subjects 2.
